It was almost 9pm when ammi decided to return home. 

It was christmas the next day and since tonight was christmas eve, we had to be at the community,  woodside park. 

I took my wallet and phone as I walked out to the living room. 

It was 10pm now and we had to be there before 11.

"Ammmiii" I called out as I pulled up the jackets zipper.  It was snowing outside and it was beautiful!

"Here" said ammi coming in the view.  My ammi was wearing a long length dress with hijab and coat. 

"Zak-" I said and Zaki yelled "Here from the kitchen"

"Hasti?" I asked ammi

"Upstairs" she replied using her phone. 

"HASSSTTIII" i called out and she came in running. 

And guess what? She fell,  face first on the floor in front of me. 

''You should not run" I tild her as she got up. 

"Come on" I said as ammi and Zaki wlaked out and she followed. 

In 15 minutes we were at the community park.  It was filled with lughts and what not. 

There was a huge tree in the middle and ammi went off with the ladies to decorate it. 

"Bhai?" said Zaki sitting beside me on the bemches laid out. 

"Yeah?" I asked him as I stared at the laughing Hasti. 

"You like her nah?" he asked

My head snapped to him. 

"Like who?" I asked him although i knew who he was talking about. 

"Bhai,  stop acting childish! You kniw who!" he said

"No,  i dont like Voldemort! The fella has no nose!" I smirked

He palyfully slapped my hand and smirked

"HASTIII DIDI!" he yelled

"Oye what are you doing!?!" I whispered to him. 

"Yeah?' she called back

'Come here please!!" said Zaki

Damn this guy!  I looked down and burried my face in my hands. 

"Hmm?" said Hasti tangling with the bows. 
''Arreh guve me that, I will do it, "said zaki taking the bows from her and whispered something in her eyes and she blushed. 

"Ammi i am da comingz" said Zaki and took off towards ammi and them

Hast took a seat beside me. 

'Hey" she said
"Hi" I said looking anywhere but her face.
"Pretty isn't it?" she said

I turned to her.  She was looking at the tree being decorated.

"Yeah" I said looking at her mean ing she is pretty
"Stop staring its rude" she said still looking at the tree

I shook my head and she faced me grinning

"Who named you Hasti?" I asked her
"My ammi, why?" She asked me looking at me with her cat like eyes.

"Hasti, meaning..... Happiness" I said and she nodded "Happiness, you always give happiness to anyone around you"

She smiled at me and then frowned.

"At times the same happiness tends to kill you slowly" she said looking put to the people.

"What do you mean?" I asked her

She shook her head and smiled at me

I guess I had to wait..

"Can I ask you something?" She said after a little silence
"Yeah" I replied looking in her devilish green eyes. Today they were not that devilish, it had innocence and childishness in it.

She inhaled a deep breath and questioned me.

"What happened to Uzaira? What was your past?" She asked me

I really should not have said yes to her..... Damn.

What now?!
