Artemis's POV

"So what do you want to drink?" Wally asked.

"Hm.." I looked over the menu while we were in line. I could feel him looking at me, I looked at him and smiled.

"How about you pick for me? I'm always down for trying something new." He looked at the menu and smiled.

"How about The Flash, they named it after some show on Netflix."

"Uh Wall-man that's got like 3 extra shots of expresso." I raised and eyebrow at him.

"It's what I always get." he shrugged.

"Yea keep getting it and your gonna die of a heart attack." I laughed. It was finally our time to order, a lady greeted us and asked what we would like.

"Two of The Flashs' please." He smiled. I have to admit he's not bad looking, his fiery red hair, and don't get me started on his freckles. He waved his hand in front on my face.

"Earth to Artemis, you gonna stand there and look at me all day." I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever." I walked back to the table.

"So Artemis, what do you do for a living?" Dick asked me.

"I'm actually taking classes to be an English professor." I answered as Wally places my cup in front of me.

"No way, Wally's kinda doing the same thing. Different subject." I drank a sip of the coffee.

"Oh really? where are you taking classes at?" he scratched the back of his neck.

"Gotham University."

"Same here."

Wally's POV

Um how have I never noticed her.

"Really? i've never seen you around campus." I looked at her.

"Probably because your to busy trying to make Linda not cry 24/7." Dick commented. I gave him a death glare.

"Linda Park?" She asked. I could see her friend Megan tense up.

"Uh yea, do you know her?" I could see Artemis roll her eyes.

"No not at all, she's just been torturing poor Megan here since high school." she gripped her cup hard. I shook my head,

"Linda would never!" Dick rolled his eyes at my comment.

"Soo your saying me and Megan are liars?" I shook my head.

"I just know Linda wouldn't do such a thing." she sighed and got up.

"Whatever. Let's go Connor and Megan, we'll see you guys around I guess." They all left the cafe.

"Seriously dude?" Dick shook his head. I looked at him confused.

"You can't even see how Linda treats people. Haven't you been dating her since high school?" I put my hands up in defense.

"I've never seen Linda be mean before, plus she's my girlfriend I defend her first!" He shook his head.

"Yea okay, Wally. I gotta go anyway, see you later." We both got up and walked out of the cafe. Was Linda really that bad? No way she's been so ki.. I mean so ni.. she's been okay to people!
