We all know that Michael B. Jordan is handsome. No Doubt about it.
He's coming with this movie that's based on a true story. That's for many Black people around the world.
Here's a little overview...
After graduating from Harvard, Bryan Stevenson ( Micheal B. Jordan ) heads to Alabama to defend those wrongly condemned or those not afforded proper representation. One of his first cases is that of Walter McMillian ( Jamie Foxx ), who is sentenced to die in 1987 for the murder of an 18-year-old girl, despite evidence proving his innocence. In the years that follow, Stevenson encounters racism and legal and political maneuverings as he tirelessly fights for McMillian's life.
This type of racism is happening to this very day. And it's the reason why so many are out there protesting. Their fighting for our rights.
I applaud those who are out there on the front lines, speaking up. This movie right here had me plenty emotional. Check it out.
