Just heard comedic great John " Pops " Witherspoon died yesterday. I'm sad he was a hard working man doing stand up, shows and movies since the 70's. And he still was active in those till he was in his 70's. He was a fixture in almost all the black movies, shows. I remembered him in Friday, on the Boondocks voicing Grandfather. It's funny how like last week my family and I were watching some movies with him in it. We were laughing, having a good time.
RIP to you Pops. Because you will be miss.
You knew it was him by hearing him say " Bang Bang Bang ! " it still makes me laugh even though I'm sadden. But I know he's in a better place 🙏
I just wanted to put this out there. He was one of my favorite comedians.
