Her soul,
A dark sky illuminated by the moon alone,
Dark, but beautiful
Her heart,
A glittering sculpture destroyed in a storm,
Shattered, but beautiful.

His love,
A tropical flower in the midst of a desert,
Dead, but beautiful.
His hope,
A doe shot mistakenly by a hunter,
Wounded, but beautiful.

These twins,
With their lives full of pain, have a beauty about them,
A beauty that only comes from suffering.
These friends,
Knowing true sorrow, also know beauty,
One found only in darkness.

Their pain,
It overwhelms them with a sense of fear,
A beautiful fear
Their sorrow,
Breaking the twins like a giant storm does a small boat,
A beautiful storm.

Addicted,
That is what they are.
Addicted the the beauty found in sorrow and in pain
The beauty,
That is what kills them,
The beauty of tremendous pain...
...And even more of sorrow
