“You want to talk about Niall.”
“Well, yes, more or less.”
“I think they left America a few hours ago.”
“Yes, Leigh told me they’d be back in about 2 hours.”
“Will you talk to him?”
“We have nothing to talk about Danny, he doesn’t even know what’s up with me.”
“But why are you mad at him?”
“I’m not mad, I’m just a little bit angry, and it’s nothing.”
“Maddie, tell me, you can’t leave me like this.”
“Fine. At the VMAS he kissed Katy Perry.”
“They kissed?”
“Yes. Well, it was just a little peck, but anyway…”
“It bothered you.”

“Because I don’t, and I’m not going to tell him a lie.”

“Danny, I got to go, I’m singing at the bar today.”
“I thought you only played on Fridays.”
“I know, but there have been some changes, and I have to play today.”
“Did you write anything since I left the UK?”

I hung up and stood in front of my wardrobe to choose my outfit. I took a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. I grabbed my guitar and went to the living room, where I found Nate and Leigh lying on the couch. She was all over Twitter and he was watching something on the telly.
