Chapter 16:

Chapter sixteen:

I woke up the next morning with someone shaking me by the shoulders. When I opened my eyes, I noticed it was Ireth. “Jason, wake up. Nuga wants us to train.”

“I'm sleepy. Go away.” I shifted, giving her my back and putting my pillow over my head.

I heard her sigh and walk away. I smiled to myself in triumph, but then it was replaced as I felt coldness embrace me. I woke up with a jolt, trembling and shuddering.

“Wha...what the hell?” I exclaimed, looking up to see Ireth holding a bucket. “Ireth! Why did you do that for?”

“I'm sorry, but you wouldn't wake up.” She put the bucket down and rested her hands on her hips. “And Nuga wants us to train before we start our journey once again.”

“Ugh, but its too early!” I sat up, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. “He can't be serious.”

“He is...and very. Come on, let's start our training.”

“Can we at least have breakfast first?”

************

“Hiya!” Ireth exclaimed, slashing at me. I easily blocked her, and spun around slashing back. We've been sword fighting for over two hours now. Nuga said we could have breakfast after our training so we could make an appetite, but I was, seriously, starving to dead!

“Jason, pay attention!” Ireth said, slashing once more at my side.

I barely had time to dodge her sword, but it still made damage to my shirt. I scowled, looking at the slit she just made on the side of my shirt. That was a close one. I'm lucky she is a great sword fighter or else, Nuga would've had to patch me up. Ok, maybe not that close but yeah.

“It was my favorite shirt!” I complained, "You will pay for that, Elf girl!”

“I want to see you trying, Troll Face!”

I charged, raising my sword to let it fall on her, but just before I let it drop on her I changed my attack. I dropped to my knees sliding under her sword and slap her with the flat side of my sword on the butt. She squealed and I got up, turning to see a very angry Ireth. I wasn't sure if she was red from anger or she was actually blushing. I couldn't help but just smirk in a mocking way.

“You Pig! How dare you?!”

I regretted it after what was coming. She ran towards me so fast, I didn't have time to defend myself. She tackled me from my waist, landing on top of me. We rolled around on the ground. Ireth punching and I tried my best at blocking or dodging her blows. Man, Elf girls can get mad!

“Ireth and Jason, breakfast its ready!” I heard Nuga call.

Ireth got off me, kicking me on the side as she walked away. I groaned, holding my ribcage and rolling onto my back. I just laid there, catching my breath and getting some energy to get up. Ireth and Anastasia kind of have the same anger issues. They can't take a little joke.

Comparing Ireth and Anastasia made me think of my friends and how much I miss them. It has been weeks since I talked to them. I wonder if are they worry about me or not.

“Ah! What a great breakfast, Nuga! What was it?” I asked, rubbing my stomach in satisfaction.

“It was eggs of Aracnilla with some veggies.” He replied, taking a sip from his tea.

“What's that?” I asked, a bit dumbfound.
