Betrayed

Percy's PoV

It had been a few weeks since the arrival of Jack Goldstein , the idiotic son of Apollo. I could already see my friends drifting away from me, the became more distant ,kept glaring at me and refusing to talk to me.

The only ones who believed me were , the Apollo cabin since they had to deal with their half-brother ,Nico and Thalia cause they weren't here , Nico was in the underworld running errands for his father and Thalia was still the lieutenant of Artemis. Surprisingly,Chris and Clarisse believed me and of course Chiron did. The seven minus me and Annabeth were at Camp Jupiter , for some exchange program between the camps so they had no idea about any of this.

But all that didn't matter to me, the only one I cared about was Annabeth,my mortal point,my girlfriend.

I had just finished designing the ring for her, I was going to propose. I went down to my father's underwater palace to ask Tyson to build it for me.

"Halt!", cried a guard, but apologised and let me in when he saw my face.

"Sorry my prince, I didn't know it was you", I waved him off and went inside to the throne room.

"Hey dad"

"Percy! My son, so happy to see you"

"You too dad"

I bowed to lady Amphitrite and nodded my head in acknowledgment to Triton who returned the gesture.

"Dad, I was planning on proposing to Annabeth, and I wanted Tyson's help to make it"

My dad sent me along with a guard to wherever Tyson was, I finally saw him talking to Ella via an IM, it looked like their talk had ended since Ella said goodbye and the iris message was gone.

"Tyson!",I shouted. He turned to look at me and a smile crossed his face as he crushed me in a hug.

"Brother! I am so happy to see you! What are you doing here?", he exclaimed

"Good to see you too Tyson, I came here to ask you if you could design this ring for me,I was planning on proposing to Annabeth", he seemed happy for me and agreed to make the ring as he took the documents and left.

I roamed around my dad's palace for a while until Tyson returned with a beautiful ring made of silver,with a diamond placed precariously on top , inside in beautiful carved letters were the words 'Percabeth Forever'
It was lovely, I thanked Tyson and hurried back to the beach at CHB when I reached the surface, I quickly made my way to meet Annabeth when I saw Jack kissing some blonde girl, I looked closer and realised it was Annabeth.

"ANNABETH!! HOW COULD YOU!!", I shouted , my voice filled with rage.

"Percy! Oh my gods, Percy I am so sorry!!", Annabeth cried out

"It doesn't matter, just stay away from me!", I shouted as I threw the ring at her and ran back to my cabin, her screaming my name while sobbing

I went straight to my cabin and IMed my mom, and told her what happened, she consoled me and told me that next time I get offered godhood, I should accept it, since I didn't have Annabeth to hold me back.

I had just finished crying when I decided to take a shower , I had just finished putting on my pants, when there was a flash of light and I was teleported to who knows where. Wait, I was shirtless, sh*t!
