I didn't expect Matilda to spring up that question on me like that

"I was wondering...

if you would like to go out with me to watch a movie or something.. You know you and me together"

My jaw dropped and my mouth wide open
I honestly thought she understood the setting behind this affair or at least she pretended to until now

Am very fond of Matilda to say the least, I enjoy spending time with her

Hearing her talk
Watching her smile
and making her blush

But we can only have that behind closed doors, that's how it is and it is supposed to be, am not going to jeopardize everything I have spent my entire life building for a mere fling

OK maybe it is more than a mere fling, a strong attraction
it is more of an obsession, an addiction maybe... And I thought the feeling was mutual and they were no strings attached

I want to take my time and explain this to her in details
but there's something about her eyes, her face, or maybe her hair
that just make me not want to come close to hurting her

But there's also no better way of telling her to know her place than shunning the ideas in her head

I turned my back to avoid seeing her naked as she pulled off my shirt that looks incredibly good on her

If I turn I get smitten
And if am smitten, I can't pass a message and I really need to pass this message loud and clear

My relationship with Matilda cannot be more than this besides what else could I possibly offer her than the time we spend together

I spent my whole day closing business deals and mergers
I don't have time for silly movie outings and parading the mall like a puppet

I didn't say a word until I left the apartment
Way to ruin such a beautiful morning
Just when I thought I was going to have a great day

Mario was still downstairs when I got to the driveway
Usually when I come here I always like to drive myself..
It's not like I don't trust Mario he has been with me for many years , I'm sure by now he knows what's going on and I know he would stay loyal with me till the end but it always make me feel guilty when I have him wait around while am having the time of my life

But since I needed groceries and he had to run the errands so he probably decided to stay back

We headed home
I was just going to shower and change quickly and go yell at Claudia or something..

But when I opened the door and saw Rosita setting the dinning
I knew something was up

"Good morning sir"

"Morning Rosita, who's all this for"

"Uhhhm it's for"

"Honeyyyyy..... "
Jessica's voice filled the air as she strolled in her nighties
Damn I wasn't expecting her to be home

"Darling is that you.... "

Ohh oh... My mom's here

"Is there a fine gentleman in the living room. Who happens to be my brother "

Audrey walked in behind my mother and I just had to scratch my hair
what are they doing here
couldn't they find a better time to visit

They hugged me one after the other
Mom kissing my checks
Audrey poking my nose
And Jessica kissing my lips
