Bad Bus Ride

*Tuesday at Chloe and Aidy's school*
*The girls are on the bus listening to music*

Hope: Hey, Aidy, Chloe!

(They take out their headphones.)

Aidy: What?

Hope: No need to be rude, I just came to say that I believe you.

Chloe: Believe us about what?

Hope: The fact that you know Jack and Wyatt.

Chloe: Is that it?

Hope: Well there is kinda something else too. I wanted to get close to you again, I was wrong to accuse you of doing anything last year.

Aidy: Is that an apology?

Hope: Sort of.

Chloe: Okay, well we will talk to you tomorrow or something, this is our stop.

(The girls get off the bus and start walking towards Chloe's house.)

Chloe: Well that was weird.

Aidy: I cant believe her, she thinks we are just going to forgive her.

Chloe: Well, she did seem pretty genuine.

Aidy: Are you crazy, she talks to us about Jack and Wyatt one second and the next she wants to get closer again. That's not right.

Chloe: Maybe you're seeing it wrong, maybe she didn't mean it that way.

Aidy: Are you really taking her side right now? She still blames us for Katie's death.

Chloe (Under her breath): She blames you.

Aidy: You know what I think I'm going to go home, my mom comes back tonight and I want to see her.

Chloe: Aidy, I know that's not why you are going home.

Aidy: I will see you tomorrow, bye.

Chloe: Okay, bye.

*Time skip to later on at Chloe's house. Chloe texts Wyatt.*

Chloe: Hey you busy? x

Wyatt: Nope, just sorting party plans, why what's up? You okay?

Chloe: I'm good, you have gotta go I will text later. xx

Wyatt: No, I'm listening, what's wrong?

Chloe: I said something really stupid to Aidy on the way home and I'm pretty sure she hates me. x

Wyatt: There is no way she hates you, what did you say? xx

Chloe: I said that Hope blames her for Katie's death x

Wyatt: Doesn't she blame both of you?

Chloe: Yeah but Aidy more than me, me and Hope still text sometimes but Aidy doesn't know that and I wanted Hope to try and make friends with her again but she took it the wrong way. xx

Wyatt: Maybe you should tell Aidy that you still talk to Hope. xx

Chloe: I cant, she will hate me xx

Wyatt: Well she is going to like it less if she finds out another way and she will at some point, I'm really sorry I have to go, text me later. xxx

Chloe: Bye xx
