Chapter 2

I drove to the pet shop, Lie still on my shoulder.

"So, school is very boring." Lie said to me.

I laughed.

"What do you expect? It's not what everyone thinks it is, it's boring and nothing exciting ever shows up." i said.

He groaned.

"Is your work more exciting?" he asked.

I laughed again.

"Oh yeah, real fun, maybe you can make some friend's." i said.

"Maybe i should, i mean im not trying to be mean or anything, but your schedule is boring." he said.

"Hey!! My schedule is not boring...on weekends..."

We laughed together.

I parked in a parking lot and got out.

"I don't know, you need a girlfriend." i said.

"I thought you were my girlfriend." he said.

"Oh please, im a human, get a girlfriend that is your kind, darling." i said.

He huffed.

"Ok, fine, i guess." he said.

I patted him on the head.

"Good boy." i laughed.

"Hey Roy." i said and waved at him at him.

Roy is my boss, and is the one who hired me.

"Hey Janie, how was your day?" he asked.

I shrugged.

"Same old, boring." i said, i set my bag next to the register and put on my uniform.

"How was yours?" i asked.

"Same, boring, but on the bright side, sold 4 dogs, and 2 rabbits, going good today." he said smiling at me.

"Great, i'm happy for them, wish i could say good-bye though." i said.

 Roy pat me on the shoulder.

"You don't have to say good-bye to every animal, Janie." he said.

I nodded slowly.

"Yeah, i guess."

"Cheer up champ, oh i see you brought Lie with you today." he said petting Lie on the head.

"Yeah, he was bored at home, so i thought i could take him with me from now on."

Roy nodded.

"Good idea, well i got to go clean the new born's." he said and disappeared.

"I like that man, you should go out with him,Janie." Lie said.

"Lie, he's my boss." i said.

Roy is 2 year's older than me apparently, he's handsome, don't get me wrong, but a guy like him wouldn't go for me.

"So?" he said.

"So i can't date him, i bet he already have a girlfriend." i said.

"Then ask him if he does."

"Lie, please, besides i'm not desperate like the girls at my school." i said washing my hands in the bathroom sink and dried my hands.

"Janie, i have never seen you with a boy for years, you need to get out there, find someone and i promise you, you won't regret it."
