Chapter 33: Uncovering The Agency

Lasting amongst the day, Arthur and Kathren were at a park. They sat upon a bench, looking upon the river in front of them. Arthur said "Kathren, we've been dating for a while, and I wanted to ask," Kathren looked at Arthur and said "wanted to ask wha-'' Arthur took off his hat to reveal a small box. Arthur opens the box with his mouth which held a tail ring as a wedding ring for worms. Arthur said "Kathren, will you marry me." Kathren had tears in her eyes and said "yes, oh god yes." As she cried tears of joy, Arthur put the tail ring on her tail and they shared a deep passionate kiss. Some agents stood nearby watching them, making sure of any suspicious activity wasn't occurring. From afar, a car was parked nearby. Stevenson was in it, waiting for someone. The passenger side door opens and Whitey sat in the passenger's seat. Stevenson said "you Whitey?" Whitey said "yeah, guessing you're Stevenson?" Stevenson said "yes, so, what's the plan?" Whitey said "we gotta capture the buggars for Desman and Lenny, I say you take out your FBI buddies over there and I'll bag the two." Stevenson said "don't you think people around the park will get suspicious?" Whitey said "you got any ideas smart one," Stevenson looked at the park then said "how about we lead the two off somewhere, they know me so they won't suspect a thing." Whitey said "fine, I'll be here til you get back." Stevenson got out of the car and walked over to Arthur and Kathren. Stevenson said "hello you two, the head told me to bring you in for information. Follow me." Arthur said "oh alrighty then," As Stevenson walked through the park with Arthur and Kathren. One agent stopped them and said to "where are you taking them?" Stevenson said "the head required they'd be brought back to HQ for questioning." The agent said "if it came from the head, why didn't he alert us?" Stevenson couldn't come up with an alibi for that and the agent pulled out his pistol. Stevenson panicked and grabbed the agent's wrist, flipping the agent on his back. Stevenson grabbed them both and said "if you make any further moves, I'll gun ya both down." As Stevenson held them at gunpoint, Whitey leans on the car waiting for Stevenson to get back. Arthur said "why are you doing this?" Stevenson said "you two will see soon enough." A bullet flew through Stevenson's leg, causing him to drop to the ground. Arthur and Kathren looked to where the bullet came from and it was Roslan along with Kelly. Arthur said "flippin' heck," as Roslan ran over and said "don't worry, we'll protect you two." Kathren said "why did Stevenson attack us?" Roslan said "Long story, I'll explain later, come on." Stevenson said "Whitey, they're escaping, kill the coppers and get the worms." Whitey looked and pulled out his knife, sneakily running to them. Kelly loads her shotgun and fired a shot into Stevenson to wound him more. Roslan ran with Arthur, Kathren and Kelly back to Kelly's car. Stevenson groans on the ground and tried to crawl to them. He was stopped by a black shoe overhead. Stevenson looked up and saw the agent he flipped now aiming a revolver to his head. The agent said "better stay still if you know what's best for you." As he held Stevenson at gunpoint, the agent said on his earpiece "needing transport, Stevenson has committed-" Just then a bullet went through the agent's head courtesy of Stevenson. More agents see the agent fall and see Stevenson running. As Roslan got into Kelly's car with Arthur and Kathren, Kelly was stopped by Whitey. Whitey slashed her leg and Kelly grabbed ahold of him. Whitey struggled within her grip as he was slammed against the car trunk. Kelly slammed him against her trunk until she saw Stevenson firing at them. Kelly dropped Whitey and ran into her car. She drove off quickly as Stevenson fired at the car. Stevenson said on his earpiece "Roslan has made a getaway with Arthur and Kathren, she has a partner as well that is on the move with her, Roslan is heading west, get agents on her location now." Kelly continued to drive saying "you guys okay?" Arthur said "yes, we're fine, who are you?" Kelly said "I'm Kelly, Chief Conners' daughter." Kathren said "why did Stevenson become hostile?" Roslan said "it's because he is in cahoots with the Calvary Gang. He was a prisoner but escaped, killing another agent and taking his identity." Arthur said "oh my, well at least we can trust you two." Gun fire can be heard, Kelly looks in her mirror and saw FBI cars chasing them. Kelly said "looks like they found us." As Kelly peeled off to the right and tried to lose them. The FBI cars followed as she peeled off, continuing to fire at the car. Kelly said "Roslan take the wheel." As Roslan took the wheel, Kelly grabbed her revolver and aimed it at their tires. Kelly fired at their tires, soon hitting one causing the car to slide. The car slid into the other car next to it. Both cars crashed into the sidewalk, two more cars drove past them. Kelly said "I got two of them, but they're still gaining."  The two cars behind them begin firing at them. It wasn't the FBI's cars, it was the Cantren gang. Kelly said "looks like there's someone else following us." Kelly tried to fire at their tires continuously until one shot from the Catren gang got Kelly in the hand. Kelly dropped her revolver and groaned in pain as a bullet went through her hand. She ripped her shirt sleeve and tied it around her hand to stop the bleeding. Roslan said worriedly "you okay Kelly??" Kelly said "it's fine, just keep driving." Roslan kept on the wheel as Roslan grabbed a grenade from her seat pocket and pulled the pin. Kelly said "yippee ki a mother fuckers." As she threw the grenade out of the window. The grenade landed under one of the cars and exploded, sending the car in the air. The car flipped then landed sideways on the road, blocking their escape. The other car crashed into the sideways car as Kelly sped off. The driver of the crashed car busted the door off and fell out of the car. It was Whitey, climbing out of the car as FBI cars pull up to the crashsite. Whitey quickly ran while agents fired at him. One agent said "both Roslan and her accomplices escaped with the worms." The other agent said "should we try tracking them?" The one agent looked at the tracker and said "they're off radar, let them go for now, we'll get them next time," As the FBI cars drove away and firetrucks came to the crash sight.
