-Maika's POV-

*gasps*

"Minato!" I approached him, moving closer, tilting my head back and forth.

"Wow, you look good." I stepped back.

"Really? I'm happy!" He beamed excitedly.

"W-Well, you look like a shoujo manga male lead." I rubbed my nape shyly.

"I know you liked my strawberry blonde hair but I wanted to switch up my look a little."

"Minato, what's important is that you like it."

"I like it too though..." I felt my face warming up slightly.

Minato changed his hair colour to black.

He's still handsome as ever but somehow...this look is giving me so much feels.

"Hey." I tugged on the end of his uniform.

He looked at me with his dark and beautiful eyes.

"Wouldn't it be nice if...we could fall in love again?" I muttered.

"Hm? But...I'm in love with you everyday." He got closer, holding my face in his hand.

How does he say that without feeling shy?! My heart skipped a beat.

"I meant...the beginning."

"Ahh, pretend play?"

"Just for a day. Is that okay?" I asked enthusiastically.

"Yeah...otherwise I'll go crazy because I wouldn't be able to kiss you." He said cheekily.

"You're honest today, Maika." He giggled.

"W-What! I'm always honest." I sulked.

"Well, you're usually such a tsundere though." He pinched my cheeks.

"I'm happy you asked me." He smiled widely.

"Our unrequited love game starts now."

Minato and I didn't go for lunch break together. I wanted to see if I could find him.

We fell in love with each other in a rather unexpected way, I wonder how does it feel like to have an unrequited love?

Ah, there he is!

I walked towards him as he did the same.

I felt myself blushing as I looked at him.

His new look really does hit me differently.

The way he had his poker face on, reminded me of the time when we first met.

Minato, why are you so dashing?

I thought we were going to walk past each other just like that.

But I guess Minato had something else in mind.

A warm sensation was felt on my wrist. My eyes widened as I looked up.

"You dropped your hairpin." He placed it on my palm.

"T-Thanks." I said calmly, trying to contain my rapid heartbeat!

Somehow, that felt nostalgic. That was exactly how we met. He picked up my pouch and that was the first time we talked.
