THE TWO BOYS walked hand in hand down the sidewalk, a casual stroll to their steps and soft smiles decorating their features. again, what was part of a plan had actually been natural for the two of them. at least for the brunette it was, to him he didn't feel like he was a part of a reckon mission — he felt like he was going on a walk with his boyfriend.

jungkook must have felt it too, that's what the other boy told himself at least. he missed him today anyways, and it was on his mind. "where did you go today?" taehyung asked.

"nowhere really, just some errands." the boy said, giving his hand a light squeeze and tugging him closer as they crossed the street.

"i like errands." taehyung said. maybe it was a hint, or a subtle excuse to remind the boy that he liked coming along to these things. he liked being included. jungkook chuckled, and he raised the boys hand to leave a light kiss to his knuckles, "next time i'll pick you up." he said, making his boyfriend smile in content.

the ravenette checked his watch. 9:08 pm. "come on." he pulled the boy along quicker, wanting to make it past the north entrance and down the alley before the men would most likely come out.

the couple were around back now, looking for more access points while portraying to be casual boys out on a stroll. "say cheese." jungkook said, holding his phone out and taking a few steps back to photograph the pretty brunette. the building was behind him, looking like a nice target and jungkook felt the familiar thrill erupt in his stomach.

taehyungs lips formed that famous smile, dazzling teeth on display as his hands landed on his hips. "how's this?" he asked through a grin, the younger snapping photos and making sure to get crucial points of the building. he saw a few cameras on the corners, a door on the top from a fire escape as jimin had suspected.

"you look stunning." jungkook said, a quiet mumble as he kept taking photos, nodding his head to the left to get the boy to walk some steps over. after a few more, he checked his watch again and slipped his phone back into his pocket.

taehyung came walking over to take the boys hand again, but he was busy fixing his hair and walking forward. the brunette frowned, but followed anyways. "we'll meet up with yoongi and jin and then head back to the car." jungkook said, already taking his phone out again despite just putting it away. he quickly sent the photos back to the lab and straight to the waiting blonde, not even noticing the dropped mood in the boy beside him.

it was moments like this that taehyung forgot this was work, and he wasn't the ravenettes main priority right now. the frown stayed on his face the rest of the walk, around the building and down to the docks where the other two boys had already started packing up their fishing equipment. "next time, bring the fruit, that's all i ask." jin was still going on about the lack of snacks, even though they were here for less then twenty minutes.

"next time, i'll just forget you and bring the fruit." yoongi said, a dramatic gasp coming from his hyung who pretended to be actually offended. jin just picked up the cooler with a grunt and a stomp, "i call shotgun so ha."

"we're the only two people in the car genius, knock yourself out." yoongi said, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

the two continued their bicker once again, all the way to the car and only pausing to say goodbye to their other two friends who kept walking to the second car. namjoon was waiting patiently, speaking quietly on the phone and hanging up once he was no longer alone in the vehicle. "all good?" he asked.

jungkook nodded and started the car, pulling out into the street without hesitation and already heading back through the city. "jimin was right, we have multiple options." he said, "we have to consider time when we decide whether to hit from the ground or roof."

the two boys in the front kept talking about their plan, different ideas and strategies that were either completely new or just a combination of old ones formed to make a new one. taehyung was lost, just leaning his head back against the seat and looking at his boyfriend. he was only sitting in the front seat, not that far away, but the brunette couldn't help but wonder if the space between them was only physical. he couldn't pretend that things had gotten different this past week, the way jungkook became more distant. taehyung kept telling himself it was the job, it was sunwoos threat, and all these things that could explain it — but that still didn't mean taehyung enjoyed this. he just wanted things to go back to normal.

they pulled up to the warehouse fifteen minutes later, silent car and all. the three of them got out and walked in, the doors already open since jimin knew they'd be arriving.

"how'd it go?" hoseok asked, he was spinning in the chair by the computers, obviously bored without a role to play tonight beside keeping the little genius company. "all good things?" jimin added with a hopeful smile.

jungkook just nodded and started pushing one of the large wooden boxes to the side, already starting a new project without a simple greeting after arriving at the warehouse. taehyung kind of just followed like a shadow, stuck to the boy but still distant. there was a million thoughts on his mind, so many things to ask the ravenette.

"did you get the photos?" namjoon asked the blonde, walking up to the computers and already asking about advantage points and the better access options. jungkook drowned out his voice, only thinking about the box at his feet and pushing it with the toe of his boot. he only stopped to look up when he felt a tug on the sleeve of his jacket.

it belonged to taehyung, the grab for attention, his forehead resting against the youngers back. "i miss you." he mumbled, still messing with the cuff of his boyfriends jacket.

jungkook turned around, now facing the boy who was still looking down and standing so close. "i'm right here." he said, cupping his boyfriends cheeks to make him look up.

"no you're not." taehyung said. it was so clear that the youngers mind was a million miles away, too absorbed in this game to even see what was going on in front of him. maybe taehyung was being a little selfish, but he didn't care right now.

"fine." jungkook said, taking the boys hand and starting to walk out, saying a quick goodnight to the rest of the guys. the couple disappeared out of the alley beside the warehouse, making their way into the car. "no more work," jungkook said, waiting to start the car as he looked over at the pretty brunette in the passenger seat, "tonight's all about us."

taehyung loved the sound of that, and the smile peeking onto his pink lips gave that away. it was so contagious, that grin, and jungkook couldn't help but smile as well. he had a lot to tell the boy, and it would be best if he was in a good mood when he heard it all.
