"John look it's ramen!" I alerted him as I pulled out the pack of instant noodles, "Remember in like August when I asked you what they were?"

Brian scoffed, "You didn't know what instant noodles were? There are like tons of packs at SoR."

"Really?!" I exclaimed as I proceeded to pull more out of the cabinet, "Holy sh*t, why have I never seen them?"

"It's because you spend your money on the bagels," John giggled.

I placed a pack in a pot and started to boil it, "Well, the bagels are bomb. You can't lie."

John shrugged, "True. Did you ever get around to eating ramen?"

"No. This is my first time!" I giddily bounced, thrilled to know what it tastes like.

"I've taken you to ramen places before," Brian raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, but I wanted to try this ramen! The instant noodles one!"

A loud noise popped in the kitchen. Smoke started to rise, setting off the fire alarm. Brian coughed as he shut off the alarm and examined the pot, flapping the smoke away. He slowly turned around, "You didn't put water into the pot?"

"Yeah?" I answered, confused. John broke out into laughter. I didn't understand what was so funny.

"How the f*ck do you expect to boil something without putting water into the pot?!" Brian raised his voice, exasperated.

I argued, "I don't know! I don't boil things!"

"Boiling is heating food up in water, and yet you didn't put any water!" he sighed.

"Ohhh!"

John nudged Brian before retreating back into his room, "You're dating an idiot."

I pouted, shooting a middle finger at Deaky. Brian emptied the pot, "We've been in Japan for a day and you've already managed to start a fire."

"It technically wasn't a fire it was just a really loud pop with smoke."

Brian glared at me. He ran his hand through his hair, "You know what, we'll have dinner out. How does that sound?"

I did like the sound of that but, "What about John? And what if we get a mission while we're out?"

"Well, we've had on the fly missions before, and as for John, we can just tell him we'll be out. He can follow if he likes too."

I grinned, "Then date night it is! We're gonna explore every nook and corner of Tokyo!"

"I don't think that's possible because Tokyo is much too big, but sure why not," Brian smiled, gathering his coat.

I slipped mine on and shoved my foot inside my sparkly pink converse! They were gifted by Brian for my birthday! He regrets it everyday.

Brian patiently waited for me while I knocked on John's door. A faint voice permeated through the wood, "Come in!" With a slight twist, I pushed the door open and found John messing with his hair. He gazed in the mirror on the vanity with his phone beside him still powered on. John smiled, "I just finished talking with Julie and Dad. You need anything? I can help you with the ramen if you'd like."

"No thank you," I chuckled, "Brian and I are going out. If you wanna tag along, you can! We'll wait for you."

John declined the offer, "I think I'll just stay here. I better get to work on charting out Freddie's next move. But thank you, Rog."

"Alright. Have fun, Deaks!" I waved goodbye before shutting the door behind me.

Brian perked up from his spot by the front door, "So?"
