Colours

You're yellow
when you smile softly,
when you laugh from your eyes,
caressing me with your words.

You're blue
when you calm me down,
speaking quietly, hushed,
surrounding me as if with still water

You're red
when you touch my knee
laughing deeply like that,
flooding my body with the heat of the sun.

You're pink,
when you sit on my bed,
giggle with me about silly things,
making my heart feel whole.

You're white,
when you touch my skin,
dragging your fingers across me,
breathing me in like I'm all yours.

You're my whole rainbow,
when you're by my side,
dissolving all the grey,
like there's no other way to see.
