Rolina's POV

"Yes bob" my mom walked downstairs "I am gonna make sure the files are on you desk by 7 okay" she turned on the coffee machine and she put a bagel in the toaster over "ok see you" she hung up

"Hey mommy" I said lowly and she smiled at me

"Hey baby" she sat in front of me

"Can I tell you something" I sighed and her smile dropped

"Are you pregnant" she sighed "listen baby it's okay we can handle this okay so-"

"No mommy" I laughed a little "I'm not pregnant"

"Okay" she sighed in relief "what's wrong then"

"It's Calvin mom" she sighed

"What he do now" she instantly got angry

He was right

"Mom thats his problem" I sighed "he thinks we don't love him and that we blame him for daddy's death mom and that's true mom we do blame him but he did what he had to do mom"

"What" she shook her head "I don't blame him it's unfortunate the way it happened but I don't blame him"

"Well explain what you think happened"

"Your dad got kilt for Calvin's dept but he is his father he was supposed to do that" she shrugged "I don't necessarily blame him"

"But that's the thing mom you are contradicting yourself... you don't hear it" I asked and she sighed "you said dad was killed for his dept but in the same breath you're saying it wasn't his fault mom" I aggressed

"Listen I don't know what you want me to say" she snapped

"Mom I am not tryna to anger you but calvin is right mom we are angry at him for something that had nothing to do with him and it is hurting him mom" I said back

"Then why didn't he say any fucking thing" she argued

"Because he feel like he has nobody mom" I fussed back "mom he had to choose out of us or dad and he choose dad" I said

"If he would have never-"

"Mom it wasn't his debt it was dad's dept and I don't know if you know but dad was on drugs at one point" She shook her Head

"Who told you that" she gasped

"Do not worry about that mom but is it true" I asked and her eyes became glossy " so you knew... mom like you would rather blame Calvin then face the truth" I shook my head

"Listen I just wanted y'all last memories with him to be pure" ther tears started to fall

"Mom they were pure for the youngest three mom but Calvin had it bad and now he is getting blame for his death" I watched her "mom this is not to bash dad because my memories were great and I love dad with all my heart but this is to say Calvin isn't happy with the way WE treat him and when he explained it I understood how he felt"

"I didn't- I don't- just all of us have a dinner okay and we can settle this" she said and I nodded "or like a family only Sunday dinner"
