The Poem I'D Never Write
I'll never write a poem about how I feel,
When I held the rope in my shaking hands.
How my heart beat wildly as I make a knot,
Wondering if it will do its job.
I'll never write a poem about my devastation,
Because of those words from my inspiration.
How my mind became clouded and started seeing no reason,
How my body wanted to be drowned with the tension.
I'll never write a poem about my cowardice,
Because I felt scared when it touched my neck.
How frightened I was when I imagined my lifeless body,
How unsure I was if there would be a life after death for me.
I'll never write a poem about how I salute those who had the courage,
They must be really brave to be able to cross the death gate.
How I wished to be as brave as them,
Maybe, someday, I'll be dauntless.
