i was told
to try to replay us
backwards
because then it's not
falling apart,
it's coming together.
i think that
us in rewind
is still just as
painful
because it begins
with you rebuilding me,
and us being happy
for a while,
until one day
you just forget about me.
but then again,
isn't that how it happened,
anyway?
