"Oh my god, what happened to you Kaiyo-chan!??" Sakura cried out, noticing the bandages that covered over her hand and the small patch of gauze that covered her left cheek.

"It's nothing. I fell on the pavement and scrapped my hands and cheek. Rimu helped me in patching them up." Kaiyo explained, waving her hand to dismiss the subject.

However, Amaro who noticed Sakura's voice and the commotion she had brought up, wasn't having any of that once he had seen the bandages and gauze pad. Standing up from his seat, he walked over to his two female friends and stood beside the ravenette. With a quick swipe of his hand, he pulled off the gauze pad that was stuck to her cheek.

A hiss flew out from her mouth when she felt the pain of the medical tape being harshly pulled apart from her skin. Her hand covered over her cheek in reaction to the skin tearing pain. Amaro then used his other hand and caught her wrist, pulling her hand away before she could stop him and protest with a harsh tug.

His and Sakura's eyes widened when they saw the burns on her cheek. They were not serious nor severe to the point where it would leave permanent scars. The scars will fade with time but before that, it was still a stomach-churning sight to see on their friend; much less on her face.

The spots were obvious; circled out as the size of the end of a cigarette butt. The skin of her cheek was red; burnt off and shrivelled, and as a reaction to the harming of the skin, the body had created a blister underneath the burnt skin to protect the more sensitive skin underneath.

Sakura gasped in horror as her eyes widened exponentially. "Wha—Ompf!" Amaro slapped a hand to her mouth, keeping her from screaming her lungs out and attracting unwanted attention.

"Don't scream." He then turned towards Kaiyo. Letting go of her wrist, he pasted the gauze pad gently over the skin, making sure it wasn't tight enough to pop the blister. "We will talk about this later after school. Lunch is too short for an explanation."

"But I have a kendo club meeting after school and they are co —"

"Screw that."

The look that he was giving her told her that she didn't have any way to escape this time. If she did, he would do things that she didn't want him doing; which would cause harm on both sides.

Admitting defeat and succumbing to his wishes, Kaiyo's shoulders slumped forward and she let out a brief sigh. "Alright..."

The bell then rang, signalling the start of school and students quickly shuffled towards their seats, prepping themselves for the start of the first class.
