Kirishima POV:

I still don't know why we're at a lake.

"Nah. We should probably head back, cuz of all that happened.."

"I said I'm okay." I am fine. Why does he think otherwise? I'm okay.

"You sure bout that?" He said sarcastically, raising and eyebrow.

"Yes." I'm fine.

"Well, we do have like, 3 hours before dinner is ready and I don' wanna spend anymore time then I have to with that old hag. Let's go sit by the lake then."

The leaves crunched under Bakugou's feet as he walked. Small robins in the trees chirped happily. The sounds of the small clearing were relaxing.

I close my eyes.

"Are you asleep?"

Really?

I opened my eyes, giving him that irritated look I do.

He smirked. "What's with that look? You do it all the time."

I ignored his question and closed my eyes again.

"If you fall asleep I'll drop you."

Really?

I gave him another look.

"Alright, alright."

Bakugou sat me down next to him at the edge of the lake.

I looked at the ducks swimming merrily around. I smile a little. Ducks are cute.

They suddenly started quacking loudly and flew away. I turn to Bakugou, who had stones in his hands.

"......what?" He said, pretending like he had no idea what was going on.

I roll my eyes.

"I was just skipping stones on the water!"

"You were skipping stones on the ducks."

"Pfft-"

He laughed. I hade someone laugh. And not at me.

"I'll go find the ducks and put them back if you're so desperate."

"I would appreciate that."

He got up.

"YO, DUCKS! GET BACK HERE!"

I noticed a couple walking a dog stopped for a moment and stared at us. Bakugou flipped them off.

They left and I held back a giggle. "That was mean."

"No it wasn't. I was just waving.. y'know, sayin' hi."

A breeze suddenly hit us.

I hate cold. I need a bigger jumper.

"Fuck weather." Bakugou mumbled.

"Yeah, fuck weather."

"Watch your mouth." Bakugou warned.

"You said it first-"

"You're too young."

"We're the same age!"

I just gave up and payed attention to the clouds. Fluffy.

"That one looks like a dick." Bakugou pointed at the sky.

"How?" I said blandly.

"Look see- there's the ba-"

"I don't need a detailed explanation."
