You've Taken Something Precious From Me!

They didn't have a long time to relax because they all knew that the government would be hot on their tail. Natsu quickly ordered the crew to pack up and set sail. It didn't take much convincing to get the crew to quickly get the ship ready to set sail. Once they were away from the island they began to relax, but that all stopped when they saw an entire fleet of government ships.

Lucy spotted them first and quickly yelled for Natsu. He turned and noticed the quickly approaching fleet. He began barking orders at everyone and soon the entire ship was bustling with life. Gajeel and Levy were sent to cover the ship in iron and create enough cannons and cannonballs to protect the ship. Lucy and Natsu stayed on the Main deck and watched the oncoming fleet.

"You should really go to my room and stay there." Natsu hadn't torn his gaze from the fleet, but Lucy could hear the concern in his voice.

"You know very well that I'm not going anywhere. I can fight now Natsu, I'm not useless."

"I know, I just don't want anything to happen to you." Natsu had finally torn his eyes away from the government ships.

"I want to help Natsu, I don't want to be useless." Natsu could see the determination in Lucy's eyes and sighed.

"Alright, but if you get so much as a scratch on you, I won't let you fight again until you can match my skills."

"Deal." Lucy stuck out her hand and they shook hands.

Natsu looked back at the oncoming fleet before turning back to Lucy. He picked her up and carried her to the mainmast before climbing up it and standing in the crow's nest. He put her down and stared her down.

"You will stay here to fight, your spirits can fight on the ground, and you can keep a lookout from up here. I will be able to hear you, even if you whisper. You will also be able to help your spirits fight because you can tell them what's going on around them. You could also snipe people from up here, but don't do it a lot ok, I don't want people to know where you are." Lucy looked at Natsu and saw that his eyes were full of fear and concern.

"Alright, Natsu. I'll stay up here, but don't get hurt, or I won't talk to you for a week."

"Deal." Natsu stuck out his hand and they shook on it.

Natsu jumped down out of the crow's nest and landed softly on his feet on the main deck.

"Be safe," Lucy whispered, and Natsu turned back to her and nodded.

Lucy looked at the horizon and saw nothing.

Nothing!

The fleet disappeared!

"Natsu! The ships aren't there anymore!" Natsu looked up at her and ran to the edge of the ship and looked over the ocean.

She was right!

The ships had vanished.

"Fred! Bixlow! Laxus! Get over here right now!"

"What do you need now Natsu, we were in the middle of something," Laxus asked.

"Can any of you see the ships anymore?"

Freed was the only one to nod his head, but only after he had used some magic on himself.

"They must be using a magic-user to block their presence, but I have a spell that makes it possible for us to see them."

"Good. Give to all the crew members, make sure you give it to Lucy, she is up in the crow's nest. She will be our lookout and sniper for the time being," Natsu explained and Freed simply nodded.
