Epilogue

My eyes fluttered open.

The warm sunshine flowed through the light curtains.

I yawned and rubbed my eyes. I looked to the side to see neat folded covers, and a perfectly wrinkle-free white pillow.

I sat up and stretched.

"Up already, brat? Damn. You usually sleep the whole morning away."

I smiled at the sound of my lover's voice. I loved that voice so much... So deep and smooth...

"Heh... Good morning to you too, Levi."

He sat down on the bed and handed me a cup of coffee. I welcomed the warmth of the glass mug and took a deep breath.

"You didn't have to..." I pouted. "I could've made it myself!"

Levi leaned in close and we touched noses. "But I was up before you, brat."

He softly stroked my cheek, and kissed me gently.

As he pulled away, a smile came to his lips.

I giggled affectionately, and took a sip of the coffee. It was perfectly made. Just how I like it. Strong, smooth, and not too sweet.

He walked over to pour himself some coffee. "How did you sleep?"

"Well I did have a dream... I only remember a little bit of it though."

He raised an eyebrow. "Oh is that so?"

I nodded my head. "Mmhm..."

He smirked and stirred his coffee. "I'm going to take a wild guess and say it was about us?"

I blushed lightly. "How did you know?"

The short man giggled a little. "Somebody talks in their sleep."

I'm pretty sure my face went pure red.
"I- I what?!"

He sat on the bed next to me. "Just a few mumbles here and there. It's not like you completed a sentence."

"Ah..." I tapped my fingers on the side of the cup and stared at the warm beverage, embarrassed.

I felt a soft kiss on my cheek. "Don't worry, I think it's cute."

I looked up at the smiling man. His beautiful dark eyes stared into mine.

"Thanks... I guess? Heh..."

He pinched my cheek playfully and took a sip of his coffee.

Just another normal day in the survey corps.

Normal chores.

Normal exercises.

Normal cleaning.

All on heichou's orders.

Clean the whole HQ from top to bottom.

Again.

Sighing, I walked over to the horses eagerly waiting for their food.

I made my way to my horse's stall and started feeding him. I thought of Heichou, like always. His beautiful smile, his adorable laughter, and those magnificent, sparkling eyes.

I love him so much.

Just as that thought crossed my mind I heard a voice.

"Hello, brat."

I turned to see the handsome man I was proud to call my own smiling at me. He looked at the horse's stall and his smile disappeared.

"You call THAT clean?!"

He looked at the stall in disgust.

"Uhh... Yea-"

I was interrupted by a loud voice.

"EEEEREEEEENNN!!!"

great. Hanji again.

"EREN!!!" As she reached for my hand, Levi have her wrist a sharp slap. "Don't even think about it."

Hanji sighed and moaned sadly.

"Awww... I just wanted to-"

"Hell. No."

He glared at the woman. "Go clean something shit-glasses."

She pouted and walked away.

"Go clean something," she mocked in a low voice.

I laughed and smiled at Levi. "Always so protective... Why is that?"

He smirked, and walked closer to me.

His eyes met mine and he put his hand on my cheek.

His soft, smooth voice spoke confidently.

"Because you are my brat."

And then we kissed.
