The Expedition

A week full of Hanji in my face passed, and as I was walking down the hall, I ran into Erwin.

"Good morning, commander," I said as a saluted.

"Good morning, Eren."

As I was walking away he stopped me.

"Hey. We're going on another expedition to try to reclaim Shinganshina."

I turned and looked at him "seriously? You must be joking!!! Remember what happened last time-"

"Eren. Please. We need to get to that basement."

I took a deep breath.

"Alright... Does Levi Heichou know about this?"

Before I could answer I heard footsteps behind me. And I heard that familiar voice. "About what, brat?"

I turned around. "Good morning heichou... We were talking about the expedition."

"What expedition?"

Erwin walked closer to Levi.

"We're going to try to take back Shinganshina again.

Levi sighed and slapped his hand on my shoulder. "The brat's in my group."

Erwin nodded. "As always. He needs protection anyway."

"Right." Levi took his hand off of me and started walking away.

Erwin turned and looked at me. "You're lucky that Hanji isn't in your squad."

"Of course. She would just marvel over all the titans and waste time anyway."
