Missing you

(( Still from Levi's point of view )!

I woke up to see the blinding sky.

The sun was right on my face.

I heard horses... And I felt vibration under me. I looked around to see where I was.

I saw a few people on horses.

Were we abandoning the mission again?

"HEY LEVI'S AWAKE!!!"

I looked over to the voice.

Great. Hanji...

"Hey shit glasses."

"Heyya, Heichou!!!" She smiled at me.

I finally came to realization... Where was Eren...?

"W-wait- where's Eren...?"

Hanji's smile started to fade.

"Hanji, answer me-"

I was interrupted with a sharp pain in my side.

"Try not to push yourself... I'll tell you everything..."

I nodded a little worriedly.

"Well first off, we saw what happened to the group... Everyone got wiped out, right? Well anyway... We came to the conclusion that Eren took titan form out of rage. My group saw his titan and approached it. Luckily, no one got hurt TOO bad..."

"So he fought against you?"

"Yeah. Anyway, after that his titan mysteriously ran off, seemingly to fight more titans... I told the groups to stay close and check on him, but the idiots never came back... And neither did Eren..."

My heard practically stopped.

"H-he..."

"Sorry, Levi... We tried finding him, but we had to abandon..."

"No... You're lying..."

"Levi.. Why would-"

"YOU HAVE TO BE!!!"

I felt a jabbing pain in my side. I clenched it, and soon calmed down, trying to hold back tears.

"Levi... We all tried our best...

But he's probably dead..."

At that thought, I felt tears stream down my face.

Eren Jäger... Dead...

I never had time to even confess my love for him... I don't even know if he would even date another guy...

"No..."

I never even smiled for him... He probably hates me for not protecting him...

"DAMMIT, NO!"

I slammed my fist down in anger creating a sharp bang sound.

Hanji's face was kind of surprised.

Then she looked away sadly.

"Sorry, Levi..."

The next day, I woke up in my room.

Please... Be a dream...

I'd do anything for it to all be a dream...

It will be like any other normal day...

I'll get up, get dressed... Clean up the room a bit... Go and eat breakfast... And like any other day, pass Eren in the hall and tell him to clean something...

I sat up. But the pain in my left side was still there.

Maybe I slept the wrong way?

I got dressed, and headed out of my room.

I headed to the mess hall for breakfast.

Eren was in our group so he would sit by me right?

But on the way in, I thought 'stop convincing yourself that it was just a dream. You know damn well it wasn't.'

I sat down in my spot after getting breakfast.

I realized.

It was never a dream. I felt every moment. I remember every detail.

But, as usual I kept my emotions to myself for the whole time.

Evening came.

Everyone was saying they were sorry for my loss.

Then it hit me. 'Maybe he never died... He could be stuck out there alone... Fighting for his life...'

"God dammit... I need to do something... I need to find him..."

I went to the horse stalls and pulled out my horse. I got on and made it to the gate.

The guard there stopped me.

"Captain Levi... How are you going to manage alone?"

"I'll manage. Let me through."

"But sir-"

"I said. Let. Me. Through."

His face went pale.

"O-okay..."

He yelled for the guard at the gate.

"OPEN THE GATE!!!"

The gate opened...

I refuse to believe that Eren Is dead.

I will find you, or die trying.
