"Lyric...Oh My God Hun" Sam said running at me and encasing me in a big hug,
"I'm alright Sam"
"I'm so sorry. About the accident and you being in a coma and your Dad and..." She squeezed me tight. You've probably all guessed that this is the first time Sam has seen me since the accident and the death of my Dad.
"Sam honey, Rics is okay, enough with the smothering" Joel said. That was a lie as I'm doing my upmost hardest to try and keep it together right now. She let go of me,
"I'm sorry...I'm sorry" She said, stepping back,
"How's Nic doing? Is he back at home yet?" I asked trying to get my mind off it.
"He's doing very well and yes he's at home now, it was bit of a scare, but he's okay"
"That's good," there was an awkward silence then Sam said,
"Lyric, I really am sorry about everything that has happened, if there's anything...", She started, I walked off as I began to cry, "Rics...I..."
"Sis'" Joel said "Sam, I'll be back in a minute okay". He came over to me, I hugged him,
"Sorry, I'm not meaning to be rude" I sobbed,
"Sssh its okay, do you want me to ring Kane?" he said, I shook my head, he sighed,
"Well I am and I'll drop you home okay," I sniffed,
"I love you Joel",
"I love you too," He put an arm around my shoulder and we walked back over,
"Lyric, I'm sorry" Sam said, she looked more upset than me, I hugged her, Joel went off to ring Kane. Sam and I moved and sat on a wall by the car,
"Well I ruined today didn't I" Sam stated, I smiled
"Yeah you kind of did" I replied,
"Sorry"
"Sam, enough with the sorry, we'll meet up this week and have a girly day"
"I like the sound of that"
"Come on you two, lets go," we got in the car and Joel drove home, Kane came out the door as we pulled up,
"Thank you Joel, see you later," I said "Text me Sam" and I got out the car and ran over to Kane and jumped in his arms,
"Come on bubba, lets go have some fun to get your mind off of things," he scooped me up and I wrapped my arms around him tightly,
"What do you have in mind?" I asked,
"Well, I was thinking we could maybe make a cake or some brownies. I don't know"
"BROWNIES" I shrieked,
"I take that as we're making brownies," I grinned and he put me down on the counter, I sat kicking my legs, "So, what do we need then?" I laughed
"My 22 year old fiancée doesn't know what ingredients we need to make brownies"
"Erm, Yep," I laughed again. I jumped off the counter,
