Electric emotions ready to spark
Quiver like a bow inside my heart
The skies are blue, the waters clean
Still my heart fills with electricity
When all around is collected and calm
My emotions inside create a storm
Why must my heart always go to extremes?
I must have great winds, not a calm, cool breeze
Overwhelming electricity gives me a shock
Fall away for the wire is hot
The sea inside is wavy and warm
A twister contrived of but shapes and forms
Try to calm mind, try to soothe heart
But instinct makes me only too alert
Yet my electric emotions lose their speed
And they fly from the paper, finally freed

PoetryThis is a book of some poems I've written recently. Some are about me, some are about books, and some are about something else entirely. Either way, I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them.
