Have you ever
Taken a sip
Of cold water
Felt the cool liquid
Run down your throat and through your body
The temperature lingers
Comparable to ice within
Lift the glass to the lips
Tasteless taste lingers on the tongue
And slides down the throat
And travels throughout
Creating an aura
Of serene coldness
