I walked out of the room and saw the list right next to the door

V- Omg C were not in the same group!

C- Yeah I know but at least you have Beckett in your group.

V- And you have Miles!

C- Yeah, it will be sad not seeing you much at school for the next couple weeks though

V- We can still hangout at lunch and free period anyways, we should head to our rooms

Vanessa Pov

Last night beckett was walking me home from a pizza place where we met up and he kissed me! it was a small peck but he still kissed 

I walked into the dance room and saw Beckett. We've been hanging out a lot over the past couple weeks and we got really close. I really like him but I'm nervous to tell him how I feel since we didn't talk about the kiss last night.

I walked up to him and said hello, he responded but he seemed distant I asked him if he was ok and he just grabbed his bag and ran off! What did I do? I thought things were going so well.

Beckett Pov

As I walked out of the assembly hall I saw that I was with Vanessa, I can't do this I know I'm only going to hurt her and as much as it pains me I need to avoid her.

She started talking to me and I really wanted to respond but I knew I couldn't so I just ran out I could tell she was angry 

Vanessa Pov

2 weeks later

Beckett has been avoiding me for two whole weeks and it's driving me crazy. We've been working on the music but today we're starting dancing for our adaptation of The steadfast tin soldier and and the paper ballerina and good enough me and beckett have been cast as the leads. Great. now I have to spend even more time with someone I can't stand at the moment

"Ok guys since the music is all figured out how about we add in some choreography, is that good for you guys! said alya

"Yeah sure"

We walked over and started doing are dance we both already knew it but we never did it together. It was so awkward I think think everybody there saw how uncomfortable we were and how much tension there was in the last move he's supposed to spin me into him but he pulled me a little too hard and I ended up inches away from his face. We just stared at each other, I didn't know what to do and my angry feelings just came back. Why was he actively avoiding me and then just stares at me as he is trying to make me more uncomfortable! What is the matter with him, whatever game he is trying to play with me I don't want to be a part of it.

I spun Vanessa into me a little too hard in our dance and we ended up so close to each other I could tell she was nervous, I saw everybody looking at us and I panicked so I ran off

I CAN'T BELIEVE HE JUST DID THAT!

Ps. Sorry I didn't write last week, I had a family emergency which called me to be out of town

How my next chapters are going to work is the first two or there will be centered around group A and the next two or three will be centered around group B
