Setting: Precinct
Chloe's POV
Chloe noticed Lucifer walk over to her desk. "Morning, detective!" He chirped.
"Hey, um... have you seen Ella? She hasn't showed up and I haven't heard from her. Do you think she's okay?"
"Oh, I'm sure she's fine. Probably just recovering from a horrifying discovery."
"What?"
"Oh let's just say I showed her something... scary."
"...You didn't show her your devil face, did you?"
Lucifer nodded slowly.
"Is that where you went yesterday?"
"Mhm.. So, any new homicides?"
"...well, we're currently on the case of Lily Anderson's death."
"And?"
"And we should go speak with a suspect to get some information." Chloe stood up and headed towards the interrogation room.
Lucifer followed her.
They walked in to see a blonde haired man sitting there.
"Hello." Lucifer stood next to Chloe.
"Hi, Detective Decker. We'd like to ask you a few questions."
"You think I killed my wife?"
"We're just following facts. So just answer the questions."
The man nodded.
"So...You and Lily have been married for, how many years?" Chloe questioned the man.
"Seven."
"And can you think of anyone who would want her dead?"
"No, not really. Everyone loved her, I didn't think anyone would want her to die."
"Right, but what do you want?" Lucifer leaned closer to the guy and stared into his eyes. "What do you desire?"
"I—I want—"
"Yes."
"I—I... I want to murder the idiot who killed Lily."
"...oh! Right. Revenge, I get it. You probably should get out there and kill him. Might give you some satisfaction."
"Murder isn't going to do the trick." Chloe gave Lucifer a look.
"Oh come on detective, it's better he suffer in Hell than in jail."
"Right, and we can have that discussion later. Thanks for your help Mr. Anderson." Chloe stood up and walked out of the door.
"But—detective!" Lucifer ran after her.
"I can't believe you just persuaded a witness to commit murder."
"Well it seems the killer deserves it!"
"Lucifer."
The Devil stopped and looked at his partner. "What?"
"What has gotten into you?"
"Nothing, why?"
"You're just acting strange."
"Whatever do you mean?"
