"Birthday dinner?" Harry questioned after reading the note. (Y/n) shrugged in response. Molly would've just made her daughter's favorite food, macaroni and cheese with mashed potatoes.

"I need to go thank everyone," (Y/n) said. "But first I need to drag these all into my dorm."

"You better hurry, we have charms in thirty minutes," Harry warned as (Y/n) began to pile her gifts in her arms.

"Yeah, I know." The girl lugged everything up in one trip due to laziness and jogged back down but not before putting on her brand new Gryffindor robes. (Y/n) then grabbed everything needed for charms, knowing she wouldn't make it back to the tower in time. She then left the common room in search of Professor McGonagall, who was in her office expecting the young Gryffindor's arrival.

"Happy birthday!" The professor stood and made her way to where (Y/n) was standing in front of her desk.

"Thank you, and thank you so much for the tea set."

"Oh that was not a problem at all, Professor Dumbledore contacted the headmaster's of the others, but I am glad you like it!"

"My birthday this year has been amazing, except for all the classes, but only two more for the day so it shouldn't be that bad."

"I hope you have a great dinner with your father, as well!" The professor embraced her goddaughter into a hug and sent her on her way.

The next professor (Y/n) set to see was Snape, but before she could make it to the stairs leading to his classroom, she realized that charms class was in ten minutes. Internally groaning, she switched directions and made her way to the charms room.

"Ooh, who got you new robes? They look squeaky clean," Hermione complimented as (Y/n) sat in between Hermione and Viviana.

"Thank you, my dad got them for me."

"Must've been awkward walking into the store since he's head of Slytherin and all," Viv said causing the other three girls to picture it and laugh.

~.~.~.~ Charms and History of Magic are boring~.~.~.~

"So when's your birthday dinner?" Asked Harry as the six friends walked through the portrait hole.

"Birthday dinner?" Questioned Ron. (Y/n) had since filled Ron in on her family news causing him to nearly faint during potions... convenient timing.

"Yeah, my dad and I are having birthday dinner, I guess. I'm not quite sure where or when, but I mean free food."

"I mean you should probably go ask him so you're ready in time," Everley said. "I'll go with you, I'm meeting up with Amelia and Ben soon, too."

"Were they the Hufflepuffs you introduced me to?" Viviana asked and Ev nodded.

"Let's go!" The two girls left the common room to head to the potions room in order to seek out Snape. Everley waited further down the corridor as (Y/n) walked into the classroom which was empty except for the lone professor up front correcting tests.

"Come in," He said when he became aware of the small girl.

"Hi." (Y/n) walked up to in front of his desk.

"Hello." The two made eye contact and didn't speak for a few seconds. "You know you have your mother's eyes." (Y/n) grinned at the thought of her mom.

"When's my birthday dinner? Better question, where's my birthday dinner?"

"Six o'clock meet me here."
