Chapter Thirty Seven

"Are you crazy? We can't get married tomorrow! What about school? My parents? The wedding stuff. You know?" I said.

"Chill, I got it all covered. That's all I've been doing. I've been meeting up with your parents for the past month, your mother told me that you were planning to propose to me, so before you could, I made this short film to propose to you instead." He explained.

"What made you so sure that I'll say yes?" I teased.

"I just know you will." He said and flashed the smile that I missed.

"But what did my parents say? About school?" I asked.

"It's just a wedding. You could continue school after our wedding. We still have one month or more before your school starts. Don't worry about anything." He explained.

I looked him in the eye. I knew he could sense my worries.

"Hey, look at me. It's all good. Just get a good night sleep. I've got everything under control." He said.

I gave him a hug.

It felt so good. I missed him so much. I can't believe this is happening. I am the luckiest girl in the world.

7 AM

I woke up earlier than usual.

Excited, I guess?

It's too fast but who cares? I'm never letting him go.

Checked my phone.

Wow. Lots of congratulatory messages from friends.

From: Mads
Good Morning, Love. I can't wait to get married to you. At around 7:30, a car will pick you and your parents up and bring you over to the airport.

He really got it all planned out.

I took a quick bath, packed some of my stuff and waited for my parents at the living room.

The car was literally a minute late. We hop in and guessed where we were going.

"So, Dad, you were in it too?" I asked him.

"Well, yeah, but he told us not to tell you of course. He's very sweet." He told me.

"Don't worry, dear. In that one month, we saw him do nothing but to fix everything about the wedding and that video thingy. He worked very hard. You made the right decision." Mom said.

Wow, Mom seemed like Mads' number one fan.

"Thanks guys, I'm really glad that you're a huge part of this." I said and I hugged them both.

After a few minutes, we arrived at the airport.

I saw that everyone was there. Mark, My brother all of my best friends, my cousins, wow.

Mads really did a good job of fixing everything up.

I still have no idea where were all going.

We sat on our seats and waited patiently.

"Hey, congratulations!"

"Aw, thanks, Mark." I said.

"I'd like to introduce you to Casey, my girlfriend."

"Oh, wow. Hello, I'm Sarah. Very nice to meet you." I said to her as she shook my hand.

"Mark has told me a lot of things about you." She said.

"I hope, only the good ones." I joked.

"Well, I'm very happy that you're finally getting married to someone whose perfect for you." Mark said.

"Thank you, I am too."

After a few minutes, the flight attendant told us to fasten our seat belts and prepare to land.

I tried hard not to look outside the window because I wanted it to be a real surprise.

"......ladies and gentlemen, we have safely arrived, welcome to Hawaii."
