We had finally made it back to my house. A feeling in my stomach churned. Either just me being nervous, or down right panic. All the boys tried to console me telling me it would be fine, but what if it wasn't? What if they took Darcy away from me? What if my mum and Gemma didn't like Darcy? What if the didn't approve? What if they got mad at me?! STOP IT HARRY! You're being insane. A total mad man. I shouldn't worry about that. I hve a very understanding family, they would love Darcy, she is my child for god sakes! The boys were digging their things out of the bus while Darcy and I started up the driveway. My converse over the crunching leaves, I missed the sounds of home. Darcy's tiny hand was looped within my rather large hand. We approached the door and butterflies swarmed my stomach. I picked up Darcy and held her on my hip as I knocked on the door. I heard an array of footsteps then saw my sister's warm smile
"YOUR HOME!" She shouted leaping onto me. I kept a firm grip on Darcy as I used my other arm to hug her. She pulled away and tears brimmed her eyes, as well as mine. I hadn't seen my family in ages.
"Where's mum?" I asked too soon. My mum stood in the doorway.
"Welcome home honey." She smiled tears falling from her eyes as she hugged me and kissed my cheek. She pulled away with a smile. Then their eyes moved from me, to Darcy. She stared at them with her innocent bright green-blue eyes. Her hair sticking out from her panda hat as it nestled on her head.
"Who's this?" Gemma asked pointing to the small child.
"Are you gonna let me in?" I smiled changing the subject. They rolled their eyes and pulled me in. The smell of home filled the air, it was something I dearly missed. I plopped down on the couch, My mum and sister on the other. They watched me as I pulled the small 4 year old into my lap. Darcy's arms looped around my neck and her head rested on my shoulder, she must be sleepy.
"So, you gonna answer the question little brother?" She asked.
"If I tell you, you can't get mad okay?" I begged. They both nodded even though I saw terror fill there eyes.I ran my hand through my curls.
"This is Darcy" I began. Gemma's eyebrows furrowed as did my mums. Suddenly Gemma's eyes widened.
"Harry... Isn't that what you wanted to name you.." She paused.
"Oh my god" My mum whispered. I gulped loudly.
"So um... Yeah this is Darcy, and she's my daughter. And she is 4" I slowly announced
"YOU WERE 16!!!!" They both shouted. I smiled awkwardly.
"Ummm. The boys are taking long don't you think?"
"Harry! explain. NOW!" Gemma demanded.
"Okay yes I was 16 but I didn't know I left when it happened and she never told me!" I blurted out
"Who's the mother?!" My mum half shouted. My eyes filled with tears. One escaped my eyes.
"That's why I was sad on the phone. It was Marie's" I mumbled. My mum sat down next to me.
"Harry what about Marie? Did something happen?" She asked. I fell apart, I heard Darcy sniffle. I rubbed her back in comfort
"I miss mummy"their faces light up to Darcy's voice.
"I know babe I do too." I whispered back. Darcy yawned as she cried.
"Honey, go upstairs with Darcy. She looks sleepy." Gemma suggested. I wiped my tears with the back of my clammy hands and walked up the stairs with Darcy to my room. They took that somewhat well. I thought to myself entering my room. It was totally untouched. The exact way I left it when I left several months ago. Before any of this happened. I sat Darcy down on the end of her bed and sat down next to her.She curled up into a ball and laid on the bed.
"I'm tired."She informed. I gave her the bear she couldn't live without with, and covered her with a light blanket. I shut the lights off and closed the door. I didn't want the boys to wake her up. This should be an Interesting 2 days with my Daughter.
I know its kinda a filler. Its all leading up to more and more drama!!! Wooh! Sorry for not updating too, Schools like karma, A BITCH lol, besides that.... NIALL'S 19TH BIRTHDAY YES? NO?
