Chapter 15

Orion groaned as her eyes fluttered open.

She felt a gentle touch on her shoulder, slighting waking her, to see...

"...E-Enzo!" She Exclaimed as He quickly covered her mouth, chuckling and smiling slightly.

"Shhh...follow me." He Spoke, uncovering her mouth as she quickly nodded and jumped up.

He smiled as he began walking.

Orion gulped as she followed quietly, making sure no one is woken up.

Once they were in the clear, Orion couldn't help but jump at Enzo, hugging him tightly and tearing up.

"I-I was so worried..." She mumbled as Enzo's cheeks burned red.

"...I-I know...I'm sorry I've been gone for so long..." he wrapped his arms around her, feeling his chest beat harder and harder.

Orion's cheeks flushed as well, but smiled contented, snuggling into his chest.

Enzo smiled shyly as he slowly pulled away. "C'mon. I wanna show you something." He smiled as he grabbed Orion's hand and began walking into the woods.

The Omega followed, looking around.

It was so dark...but beautiful.

She saw the birds chirping softly, and dragon flies flying around.

She giggled as she watched.

Enzo couldn't help but smile.

After walking for a bit, Enzo stopped.

"We're here."

Orion nodded and her eyes widened.

She looked up and was met with awe.

"Wow.." she sighed in amazement as Enzo chuckled, sitting down at the ledge of the mountain.

"My mother used to take me to this place anytime it was my birthday...she'd always sing me songs and cuddle with me in her wolf form..." He stated as Orion sat next to him.

Orion smiles as she slightly rested her head onto his shoulder.

"That sounds nice..." she whispered.

"...Orion...you know what a mate is right?" Enzo asked, looking over at the forest as he felt her nod.

"Yeah...that much I learned before coming here...apparently I was supposed to be Alpha Blayd's...but I was never in love with him..." Orion's eyes shined their pure, golden yellow as she sighed softly.

"..." Enzo nodded and looked away. "...Orion?"

The Omega looked up at her Alpha.

"Yeah?"

"...What do you think of me?" Enzo asked.

Orion blushes as she looked up at her Alpha.

"...I can't tell you." She stated as he looked down at her.

"...Why?" He Questioned. "Am I...that bad?" Enzo chuckled, heartbroken.

Orion couldn't control herself as her hand went up to his cheek, cupping it gently.

"No..." She kept talking, looking into his brown eyes with her golden ones.

"...It's because words can't describe what I think about you. Or how I feel." She stated.

His eyes widened, his cheeks flushing a bright, bright red.

So did Orion's, her smile widening.

"...Orion...I..." He began to lean down, wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her close.

The Omega wrapped her arms around his neck, her breath warming up as she slowly leaned in too.

"Y-Yeah?..." She mumbled as they leaned in closer.

Enzo gulped as their breaths hit each other, their body pressing against each other.

"I-I lo-" He began to talk before his eyes flare blue and seeing 2 red eyes, behind her.

His eyes widened as he quickly grabbed Orion tightly and jumped out of the way of a giant Alpha Wolf. Enzo quickly put Orion behind him as he popped his large claws.

"O-Orion go!"

The Wolf snarled at him as Orion's eyes widened. "B-But-"

"ORION GO!" He commanded, his eyes flaring a bright, cold, steel blue.

Orion's eye widened as she quickly ran off, tears running down her cheeks.

Enzo panted and growled as he looked back at the morphing wolf.

His eyes shined red.

His claws glistened against the moonlight.

He was the man that killed his pack.

His family.

He stood upright to laugh softly, his unmistakable evil grin plastered on his face.

"Nice to see you again Enzo."

"You too...Blayd."
