Annabel's P.O.V
My phone vibrates and I see my dad’s number.
"Hello?"
"Honey, you mothers been in a terrible car accident she's in the hospital" my dad says close to tears.
"How is she?" I choke
“She’s stable but she won’t wake" He says worried
"What hospital are you in?" I say
He gives me the name and I hang up, looking up at Derek.
"My mother was in an accident can you drive me to the hospital"
'Sure babe" he hugs me as he leads me out.
-----30 mins. Later-----
"Dad" he turns and I run into his arms crying "oh baby" he mutters
"Where is she?" I pull away
"Down the hall"
I walk straight down and into her room. I see her lying motionlessly in the bed hooked up to a machine. It's a painful sight to see. Even though she doesn't love me anymore she is still my mother and I love her. I walk to her bedside and hold her hand. I sweep my other hand across her cheeks. Seeing the bruises and marks more clearly.
"Oh mother, I never wanted anything to happen to you" I cry holding her hand “I’m so sorry mom, please don't leave me" I cry harder and hear her moan.
"Mom?" I look up into her eyes.
"Annabel" she whispers
"Yes mom it’s me” I cry
"Oh honey I’m so sorry, can you ever forgive me?”
"Yes mom, I love you” and she smiles faintly
“I love you too" and she closes her eyes
"Mom", "mom" I shake her but she doesn't budge “doctor!" I shout as her monitor starts beating....
"Sweetie what’s wrong" my father rushes to my side
“its mom" I cry and feel a sharp pain and I let out a scream.
"Annabel" I hear faintly as I scream and fall to the floor.
