"You’re having a boy" Dr. Ryan smiles up at me.
"Really, that's great, Derek's going to be so happy" I can help the big smile on my face.
'Yeah" Stefan smiles weakly
"Alright well were done for today" Dr. Ryan stands and throws his gloves away
"Could I have some pictures?" I ask eagerly
"Yeah, I'll be right back" The doctor smiles and leaves the room
"Thanks I say wiping the goo off and turn to look at Stefan.
"What’s wrong?"
"Nothing"
"Come on Stefan"
"It’s nothing Annabel, it’s just hard but I'm happy for you two" He says trying real hard to smile.
"Thanks" I say squeezing his hand.
The doctor walks back in and hands me the pictures. We leave after a while and go home.
"So, when are you guys planning to tell mom and dad they get home tomorrow?"
"What? I thought we still had time" I say panicked
"Yeah but I guess something happened so they will be back, what are you planning to do you can’t say your just fat, you never have been."
"I'll talk to Derek tonight"
"Alright" we pull into the driveway and Stefan helps me out.
I enter my room and grab my bath stuff and relax in the warm water. After 30 mins; I submerge and change into night gown. I lay flat on the bed and call Derek.
"Hello'
"Hey baby, are you done yet?"
"Yeah why what's up?"
"We need to talk"
"Is there something wrong with the baby?" he asks panic in his voice
"No I have a surprise that I know you'll love"
"Alright I'll be over in 10" he says cheerful
"Alright' I smile, hanging up
