a sleepcloud drifts to the window
and out
set free by your blink and the timbre of your words
made from love
i had your first yawn for me
it was better than a baby's smile or steps
it was yours your first yawn my first yawn from you
i took a picture - it is framed now
and hangs inside my forehead behind my eyes
askew and perfect
i look at it all day
you move around in it and do things
with your arms and legs
your neck and head gear at an angle repairing gas fittings
you watch me with all the love for me i know you want to tell the world about
but being a secret zebra-secret makes a hush of your voice
still your first yawn is mine
