i stayed at home to write

this poem

(not quite true,

though my heart is

loam) and i reach with

my arms

deep inside this trove

feel with my fingers

where pearls and gems

grow; some say

pearls are tears

but that ain't

true

the jewels in my heart all

belong to you

you dumped them

there

these gems that gleam

my love and yours

unite on the seam

stones make me rich and make

me pretty

my bum

has a swing that's yours,

every bitty

my lashes are long

and my

brown eyes beddy

you are my love

my sweetheart,

my teddy

and always glowing

is how

you make me feel

can't get over

how our love is

the wheel,

i know my raft wll sail

on your sea

and where your

waves travel

is where i

will be; imagine the crown

and what's in store

when my float

and i meet

you

on that shore
