I'm back! WHo missed me raise of hands lol! I'm honestly trying my best to write a chapter with all this school work, and next week I'm taking the ACT, so I hope i have the time to write it.  But please be patient!

So I started working out and I wanted to be in shape, and you guys probably don't care, but I just wanted to tell you guys, so you guys can encourage me, so I wont get lazy and end up eating the cake that is sitting on the counter.

Okay so here is your chapter. I really hope you enjoy it because it was just hard to write this chapter without being obvious.

Check out the amazing picture off to the side done by Violet Swan!

Chapter Seventeen: Ice Princess (Part Two)

“I’d rather be stabbing myself right now. This is so boring,” Sareen whined for the hundredth time as all of us sat our blue table.

We weren’t annoyed with Sareen because it was true. I rather be taking a knife and pressing it into my belly then be at this dance. I don’t think any of us realize how boring school dances are. They are a dubbed down version of the club life, and to be honest none of us are about that life, not even Elliot.

“I thought these things were more fun,” Iris chipped letting her eyes wander to the sweaty bodies on the dance floor. It was as if all these teenager boys were molesting these girls, but the girls were enjoying it.

“I have never been to an actual dance. I just expected more,” Elliot said.

We all shook our heads in agreement. Don’t get me wrong, the dance was fun for the first hour, but then after that you were just doing the same thing over and over. Sure, you dance for thirty minutes and then you eat a little and take pictures, but then that’s all. All you do is dance. I guess that’s why it’s called a dance, but seriously how much can one person dance. It wasn’t even fun dancing. It was the cha-cha slide or the cupid shuffle, no it were guys dry humping girls. It was disturbing to watch and to be around.

“You guys want to get burgers or something?” Blaine intruded. We were all up for it except Willow. She shook her head and grunted.

“No, I didn’t buy this expensive dress to go get burgers. What are we, savages?”

She was right. Today wasn’t supposed to feel like this. It was supposed to be mine and Elliot’s first date. It wasn’t supposed to be boring nor was it supposed to be a snooze activity. It was supposed to be a cliché dance, but nope it was a typical high school dance, and we weren’t typical high school students who were going to enjoy this.

“What’s up losers?” All of our heads snapped up to the captain of the soccer team or as everyone else saw him as, Rebecca’s date.  This was the first time we saw Luke the whole night. Rebecca has been on him like a leech.

“Where’s your ice princess?” Leo mocked.

Luke rolled his eyes. I couldn’t help but laugh at the irony of the name. The ice princess was the title the winner got at this dance. It was the winter version of prom king and queen and everyone in the student body knew Rebecca was going to win. I guess everyone thought the name just fit the heartless person the best.

“Acting like a stripper somewhere,” Luke replied pulling a chair next to me. He took off his jacket and unbuttoned his collar. There was something about what was Luke doing that made me turn ten shades darker.

“And you didn’t get a free lap dance?!?” Blaine gasped as he put his hand above his mouth. Willow threw some fake snowflakes at him mouthing the word ‘loser’.
