"Seriously?!"

"Yeah."

"What happened?"

"I don't know. Things just changed and I didn't feel it anymore. I was bored I guess. He's just too typical. Unlike your perfect guy who surprises you on every corner."

I chuckled. "Carson is pretty amazing."

"What's that I see on your wrist?" She reached out and grabbed it to look at the bracelet.

"He gave that to me right before I left."

"How sweet. This is really cool. I love all the little charms."

"I know! It's so thoughtful."

"So what are you going to get him?"

"I have no idea." I said laughing. "I mean it's so hard to buy stuff for guys. I was thinking about it all the way here on the plane."

"Well, we'll figure something out." She smiled.

"Yeah, I already miss him." I sighed.

"Why don't you call him?"

"Maybe I should." I smiled.

I grabbed my cell phone out of my bag and quickly dialed his number.

It rang three times and he picked up. "Hello?"

"Hey!" I said happily. I put it on speaker phone.

"Gracie, listen...um...you shouldn't have called me."

"What?"

"Well...um...I don't think we should...uh...be together anymore."

"Excuse me?"

I heard him sigh. "I'm sorry Gracie, I have no choice. Please forgive me. I'm breaking up with you." I heard someone talking, but I couldn't understand them. He let out a breath and spoke again. "We just don't mesh well together. We're through."

I lost my breath for a second. "Are you serious?" I finally choked out.

"I'm really sorry."

"If you're not messing with me, you're really going to be." I sneered.

"Please forgive me! I have no choice."

"I don't understand."

I heard someone yelling at him off the phone, then he sighed again. "Gracie, we're through. I have to go." Then he just hung up.

Rose and I looked at each other with our mouths wide open. "Rose...I don't understand."

"I don't either! What the heck is this?!"

"What is this feeling? My chest is tight and I can't breathe well."

"Hun, that's the feeling of heartbreak." She hugged me.

"I never really understood heartbreak, and I never thought it actually would hurt, but it does." My eyes were still wide and I couldn't believe what just happened.

"Maybe it's just a misunderstanding. I mean he kept saying he had no choice."

I quickly stood up at that. "There's no reason he should break up with me, unless he really doesn't like me!" I yelled. "That mother f-"

Someone whipped the door open, cutting me off. "Hey Gracie are you alright?" Warner asked.

"Get out!" I screamed at him.
