I love when awesome songs are in my head (which is most of the time)

Lately, the song Jack & Diane's been in my head. John Mellencamp. If you haven't heard it, I feel sorry for you. . I've been around my cousins allot lately, might be why it's been in my head. My cousin Jacki's first and middle name is Jacki Diane (Jacki is her nickname), so whenever I see her the little voice in my head goes "little ditty about Jacki Diane...." Haha, the voice in my head's an interesting character.

But, anywhom, yeah, I love that song. Always have.

It's just wonderful.. all about living life while life is still good, because you won't be young forever. We as teenagers don't know how good we really have it.

Anywhom, I'm gonna post the lyrics... to make those who haven't heard it want to hear it, and those who have heard it want to hear it again. :)

Jack and Diane .. John Mellencamp

A little ditty, 'bout Jack & Diane -

Two american kids growing up in the heart land.

Jacky gonna be a football star

Diane debutante in the back seat of Jacky's car.

Suckin' on chilli dog, outside the taste freeze

Diane sitting on Jacky's lap got his hands between her knees

Jacky say "Hey, Diane, let's run off behind a shady tree

Dribble off those bobby brooks let me do what I please" saying:

Oh yeah, life goes on

Long after the thrill of living is gone, sayin'

Oh yeah, life goes on

Long after the thrill of living is gone

Now walk on

Jack he sits back collects his thoughts for a moment

Scratches his head and does his best James Dean

Well now then there, Diane, we ought to run off to the city

Diane says, "Baby you ain't missing a thing"

but Jacky says:

Oh yeah, life goes on

Long after the thrill of living is gone

Oh yeah - he says - life goes on

Long after the thrill of living is gone

Oh, let it rock, let it roll

Let the bible belt, come and save my soul

Hold on to sixteen as long as you can

Change is coming round real soon make us women and men

Oh yeah, life goes on

Long after the thrill of living is gone

Oh yeah - he says - life goes on

Long after the thrill of living is gone

A little ditty, 'bout Jack and Diane -

Two american kids doin' the best they can
