See that girl who smiles ?
You probably don't know,
But in her heart,
There is pent up sorrow.
That stretches for miles.
If she's sad, why doesn't she cry ?
You probably don't know,
But not all tears are for show.
Some tears are better left unknown.
She stows them away,
Day after day,
Month after month,
As the years go by.
In tiny little bottles,
Deep in her heart,
Lies the river ,
Frozen in time.
