Things were not good between the twins, that much was obvious. Any other day, the twins would be giggling and talking to each other happily, but the awkward silence was eating at the three other teammates.

Both were dressed in blue, skin tight ninja pants, black ninja sandles, and a black zip up hoodie, which was zipped up to their collar bones. This was probably the least cute the twins had ever dressed, but being full fledged Shinobi now, cutesy outfits weren't going to do them any favors.

But even looking the same, the three could clearly tell them apart. One was angry, the other upset and slightly fearful. Whenever their eyes would meet, the angrier one would glare at her sister, receiving a slight flinch in response. This happened over and over as they waited for their late sensei.

"Can you two please sort out this siblings' fight? You're making Sasuke-kun feel awkward," Sakura whined, and received two unimpressed glances, before everything returned to as if she had never opened her mouth.

Eventually, their sensei arrived with a rubbish excuse, and told them what the training exercise was going to be. Naruto made a fool of himself and ran at Kakashi, but that backfired. Once Kakashi gave the signal, the intelligent four - those other than Naruto - scattered to hide in the bushes.

Yumi carefully made her way towards her sister. Yes, her sister was angry at her, but she knew they needed to work togethers.

"Ne, nee-san," she said, landing beside her sister on a tree's lower branch.

"What?" her sister spat out, shooting her another oh-so-familiar glare.

"We need to work together on this. We can't beat or outsmart a Jonin on our own," Yumi said, watching Naruto attack Kakashi head on.

"But you want to recognized as a powerful individual don't you? If I help we'll be working as a team," Miyu taunted.

"That dream is for further down the line. For now, we need to work together. That's why Genin are put in teams of three. That's the purpose of this exercise," Yumi insisted.

"The purpose of this exercise is to get a bell so we won't be sent back to the Academy, and to show Kakashi-sensei our capabilities," Miyu said, leaping off the branch and taking off without her sister.

"You know I can't fight well right now...," Yumi muttered to herself, rubbing her right shoulder with a slightly pained expression. This fighting wasn't good for either of them, but she was worse of than her sister at this point in time.

Yumi stood up, shaking her head. 'This isn't the time to worry about our fight. I need to team up with someone else, or I'll never have a chance at this. I can't afford to go back to the Academy," she told herself mentally, taking off towards Naruto, who seemed to be on his own, hanging from a rope around his ankle. Kakashi was nowhere to be seen.

Running fast, eyes darting around for signs of the silver-haired Jonin, she leapt to stand sideways on the tree from which Naruto was suspended. With a swift movement, she cut the rope and caught his hand, flipping him upright so he landed on his feet.

"Thanks," he said, shooting her one of his signature grins.

"You're welcome," she smiled back gently, which surprised him slightly.

"How are you doing that?" he asked, referring to how she was standing horizontally.

"Ah, never mind that for now, I can explain later. For now, we need to work together to beat Kakashi, as a team," she said quickly, dropping down beside him.

"If I'm going to be Hokage, I need to be able to do this on my own, dattebayo. Besides, why would I want to work with Sasuke teme anyway," he said before running off.
