•Chapter 29• I'm So Proud Of You

Quavious POV

I stood by Royals side impatiently waiting to see what we were having I was really rooting for another boy but it honestly didn't make a difference I was just ready to actually have my baby here

"Okayyy... Mrs. Marshall you are having a baby... Girl!" The doctor smiled

"Seriously!" Ro smiled. "Is everything okay?"

"Everything looks great! She has a head full of hair, a strong heartbeat, and she's healthy as ever already five pounds"

I stared in amazement at the screen.. every ultra sound was different... Yaté was so calm and chilled, and Sky was the same way, but this baby was different... I knew she was gonna be little shining star!

He printed out our pictures wiping the gel off her stomach.

"Let me get your prenatal vitamins and your all set!" He handed me the photos before walking out.

"We having another baby girl" I smiled

"Yess! I can't wait to tell everybody"

"Why not do it tonight? Mama having a dinner at her house and she want everybody there" I shrugged

She nodded as the doctor walked back in with her prescription. We thanked him and headed on our way to mama house to help her get this dinner going

Once we got there I noticed almost everybody was here except for a few but I knew they was coming soon. I parked and got out walking over to Ro's side helping her out going into the house where we were greeted by Jordan and Heaven.

"Wassup guys!" Ro hugged them both before picking up King who was rubbing his eyes

"Where Yaté?" I asked Heav walking towards the kitchen

"In the pool with momma and Sky"

I nodded heading out there catching the attention of Sky

"Hey daddy girl!" I picked her up out the pool kissing her cheek

"Hey Qua! Where Royal?" T asked getting out the pool with Yaté wrapping a towel around him

"In the house.. wassup lil man" I ruffled his hair walking him in the house

"Hey daddy! Hey mommy" He hugged her legs

"Hey baby" She kissed his head. "Baby momma wanna talk to you"

"Bout what?" I asked not sure where this conversation was headed

"I don't know.. she just said it was important" She replies taking Sky from me

I nodded and went to the den where mama was sitting waiting on me

"You needed me..."

"Come sit down Quavious" She patted the seat next to her. I knew I was in deep shit if she called me by my government

"Yes ma'am" I sat by her getting ready to hear her go off

"You know.. I'm very proud of you" She smiled

"Wait... what? What for?"

"For finally stepping up and being a husband to Royal.. you let go of your past and decided to be all about your wife and kids. I was hoping and praying I would see the day this happen"

"I didn't realize what I had till she actually left for a few months almost a year and I just knew I couldn't live without her or stand to see her wit somebody else.. and I realized how much I hurt her" I looked at my lap

"It's okay baby.. she's forgiven you and let you back in her life and you've been doing right by her"

I nodded and thought about what ma was saying and she was right!

"I love you mama" I gave her a hug

"I love you too, baby" She kisses my cheek getting up. "Now let's go before they eat everything"

I laughed getting up walking out and into the dining room where Royal was placing the food on the table trying to keep the guys out of it.. Mainly Set Take was being a pain in the ass

"Imma break y'all fingers if y'all touch this damn food!"

"Mannnn who supposed to be scared of lil bitty Ro? Nobody!" Set teased

"Take yo crusty black ass on!!" She snapped

I couldn't help but laugh sometimes my boy could look a little crusty.

"Come on nie leave me baby alone" I smirked. "Mama said it's time for everybody to come sit and eat anyway"

We all sat at the table. Mama said prayer and we all dug in.. I thought now would be the perfect time to tell them about our doctors appointment earlier today.

"Me and Royal have some news to share" I smiled catching everybody's attention

"What is it fo'head?" Set asked laughed

I flipped him off and continued with what I was saying. "We went to the doctor today to find out what we're having and.... we're having another little girl"

"Congratulations!!" My mom seemed so thrilled to have another granddaughter

And too be honest I was happy to have a little girl on the way...

Royalty POV

I organized the baby's nursery hanging up clothes in the her closet and putting boxes of diapers where they needed to be. I still had a few months before my baby girl arrived but I wanted to make sure I had everything in order.

"Baby?" Qua leaned against the door way rubbing his eyes

"Wassup?"

"What you doing up so late?" He walked in wrapping his arms around me placing his hands on my stomach

"Just trynna get some things organized.. what you doing up?" I asked

"Couldn't sleep.. what we gone name baby girl?"

"I don't know..." I shrugged

Honestly I hadn't thought about it.. even tho we didn't plan on another baby neither so this was kind of a surprise..

"We'll think of sum.. but let's go back to bed."

I nodded walking out turning off the lights going back into our room climbing into bed. I laid down snuggling up with my pillow I felt Qua lay behind me pulling me close to him.

"I love you.. very much" He kissed my head

"I love you more.." I smiled blushing a little

We were finally the perfect couple!
