Last night was rough, I hardly got any sleep so waking up this morning was nearly impossible. I was so exhausted!
“Sweetie, wake up!” my mom suddenly comes into the room. She makes her way inside and over to where the window is, she then continues to open up the blinds. “Lovely isn’t it?” she says as the sunrays illuminate my room.
“Just grand.” I groan out and sink deeper into the mattress. “Mom I didn’t get much sleep last night so I would appreciate it if-”
“Sweetie we have an appointment in an hour, so go shower and get ready.” She tries to say in a stern voice.
“Appointment?” I said raising my head and looking at her.
“Your hair appointment, Remember?” she said “And after we were going to head over to the spa!” she said overexcited. I groan once more.
“It’s too early for this!” I say slamming my head into my pillow.
Mom gasps, “Early? It’s twelve in the afternoon.” I look over at my alarm clock and scrunch up my eyebrows. Wow, it really was.
Mom looks at me once more and sighs, “Its Klaudious.” I straighten up and look at her worried.
“What?” she smiles.
“He’s the reason you’re up tossing and turning at night.” She said amused. “It’s difficult sleeping without your mate, especially now once you’ve found him.” I looked at her stunned. “Your wolf is just a bit restless.”
“Oh, I didn’t know that.” I whispered.
She laughed, “Just go get ready!” I got up still half asleep and stomped into the bathroom.
I still wanted to sleep!

“Okay, so what have you got planned for today?” I had placed my hair in a neat bun and I was wearing a strapless top with some washed out shorts and my favorite strappy sandals.
“Well we can get your hair done first then well go to the spa and after that well have dinner in that restaurant down by the mall that I’ve been dying to try out!” I smiled widely at her,
“Sounds perfect.” I grabbed my bag and walked out after her.
“So, when do you think Klaudious will be showing up?” I looked at her honestly unsure.
“I have no idea but I can feel the bond getting stronger so that means he’s getting closer, right?” she smiled and nodded eagerly.
“Oh I can’t wait to meet him! I’m so excited” I smiled appreciative at her,
“Wow, you’re the first to get excited when it comes to Klaudious, well after me I guess.” She looked at me strangely.
“He doesn’t exactly have the biggest fan base back where he lives…dad totally, uh…dislikes him.” I said while laughing nervously.
“Well he’s just being the overprotective father, I’m sure.” I gave her a weak smile.
“Yea, I’m sure that’s it.” I told her, but I knew that wasn’t the reason why. Dad just hated Klaudious for some unknown reason, well Klaudious was a bit over the top sometimes. However dad wasn’t the only person that loathed him, he had a whole line of haters.
Maybe I could teach him to be friendly, the whole sharing is caring Philosophy.
“’Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love; this is the eternal rule.’” I looked over at my mom confused.
