Klaudious POV

I let out a sigh of much anticipated relief, she had finally brought down her walls, and she was allowing me to find her. Most importantly, I’m sure she had forgiven me, or she was close to it. I hoped…

I walked out of Cole’s office and from the corner of my eye I noticed he was talking to someone over his cell phone too wrapped up in his own business to see me.

I searched for Luan, I was ready to leave this place.

I found Luan in the living room being watched by two men, not that he minded. I’m sure he was making the best of it by teasing them in whatever way he found fit. 

 “Let’s go,” I told Luan, he stood up while winking at both men teasingly and followed after me. I snorted finding it amusing, I just knew him too well.

“So?” I looked over at Luan, “What happened?” He asked.

I turned away from him and walked into the woods, I planned on telling him but first I needed to get a true grip on where she was. I closed my eyes and tried setting a location. She was far, but my wolf had targeted her.

I looked over at Luan with a coy smile, “You ready?” I asked feeling thrilled. The chase was always the fun part, and this was a bit similar to it.

I shifted into my wolf and headed east, Luan following close behind.

‘So I’m guessing you guys are good now?’ he asked a bit unsure.

‘As good as we can be.’ I said a bit frustrated, this was my entire fault to begin with. ‘Are you set for this? We got a long way to go...’

‘Are you kidding me? I was born ready.’ He let out a howl.

‘Good.’ I said while chuckling. ‘Good.’

Alexandra POV

“So I guess you’re heading back home now, huh?” My mom said nervously.

“Mom, this is home…well…one of my homes.” I smiled up at her. “I’m not leaving you just yet.”

She looked at me stunned, “But you said you wanted to be with him.”

I nodded my head, “I do, but Klaudious decided to go all possessive Alpha and come for me himself, so until he does its just you and me.” I said while rolling my eyes, but I couldn’t help but smile. I was so happy I would be seeing him soon.

“Well it seems like you don’t mind all that much.” she said while winking.

“Mom,” I whined. “I can’t help it.” I said while blushing.

“Okay, okay, I’ll stop, but you have to help me with dinner.” She said while pointing a finger at me unrelentingly.

“Fine, but we’re having pasta!” she smiled pleasingly and started pulling out the ingredients.

“So? How did you two meet?” I groaned.

“Mom, I really don’t want to talk about this.”

“Why? We always talk about boys.” She said while pouting.

“It’s different with Klaudious.” I said, but unsure why.

“Why?” she asked while I drained the pasta. I looked over at her with a mystified face.
