Bitter-Sweet Life [Complete]

A sudden turn of events!!!

The following day….

The door of my classroom opened and the teacher came in…

“Everyone we have a new student”

Who in Earth would transfer to school this time of the year?

Then someone came in…And I was so shock to see who it was….

“Hi everyone…Nice to meet you all. I hope you’ll be nice to me since I just recovered from a car accident. Oh by the way, I’m Chad Smith.”

I can hear them chattering, probably because they heard ‘from a car accident’…

No way…This can’t be---…This is impossible….

I shivered…

“Does anyone want to ask something to me?”

One of my classmates raised his arm and started to ask…

“Why did you enroll here? I mean if I were you, I would rest a little longer since I just recovered…And from the looks of it you’re here for a reason…”

“I think I’ve rested long enough. And the reason why I’m here? I’m here to claim something that was mine long ago”

~Lunch~

“Yo! Jane!” Jake called out for me but I didn’t respond

“You shouldn’t interact with her, come on, and let’s go!” Some of his friends said

“Quit it, it’s my choice to interact with her so SHOO!” he shoved them

“Fine. Whatever. Just warning you…”

Then they left….

“Yo, Jane….??? You didn’t ans------“

He noticed that I was crying…

“Hey, Jane? What’s wrong? I didn’t do something wrong, didn’t I? Come on, tell me. At least look at me…”

I looked at him and saw me crying so bad…

“H-hey…What’s wrong?”

-SNIFF SNIFF-

“W-what should I do?” I asked him

“Huh? What are you saying?”

“He-he’s back”

“Huh? What do you mean he’s back? I-I don’t get you?”

For some unknown reason I continue to shiver….

I’m shivering because I’m nervous? Or am I too shocked that he’s here? I don’t know…

“H-hey, Jane?!!”

His voice could’ve gathered a lot of attention but everyone was out except for me, Jake and Chad.

“Huh? Jane?” Someone said…

I can see Chad walking to my direction…

When he was near me, he asked me…

“A-are you Jane?”

I-I can’t believe it, it’s Chad. He’s right in front of me. Being nervous, I continue to shiver…

And Jake seems to notice it…

Huh? She’s shivering because of Chad?

Even though it was just a hunch…

Out of anger, I grabbed his collar…

“Hey! What’s wrong with you!” he complained

Jane noticed and shouted “Stop it!” But I ignored her warning and still went on…

“What did you do to Jane! Answer me!”

“Hey, what are you saying? Just hold your horses...”

I was pissed on how he answered me…so I tighten my grip. When I was about to punch him Jane shouted “Jake!”…

Why is she protecting him? Isn’t he the reason why she’s shivering?

Oh wait, I don’t even know if it was really his fault…

“I told you to hold your horses, didn’t I?” he said it while fixing his shirt

“I’m sorry. I was wrong. I’ll excuse myself”

Embarrassed by my idiotic move, I walked out…
