                                                           "Making Up"

Samantha’s POV:

I was sitting in my living room watching TV. I felt a little bit better today so I decided to come out of my room. My sister had left with Mark earlier. Apparently they were going to the movies on their date. I heard a knock at the door and with a sigh I heaved myself up and walked over to it. When I opened the door Chase was on the other side. I just shut it back.

“Don’t be like that,” Chase called out through the door.

“I don’t want to see Ryder or any of you,” I called back.

“I really need to talk to you. It’s important,” he said.

            “How important,” I asked curiously.

“Very important,” he pleaded. With a sigh I opened the door again.

“Fine but you better make it quick,” I said as I let him in.

“I will. I promise,” he said with a smile. I just closed the door and walked back into the living room.

“Well,” I asked after he sat down.

            “It’s about Ryder,” he started.

“Then leave,” I told him as I looked back at the TV.

“You don’t even want to hear what I have to say,” he asked.

            “Nope,” was all I said.

“So you’re just gonna write him off,” he asked.

“Yeah. He wrote me off,” I said with a shrug.

“It was my fault,” he said.

“Oh really? So you took over his body, told Massie that I was nothing to him, and made out with her,” I asked.

“Well no,” he said looking a bit confused.

            “Then it wasn’t your fault.”

“But I told him to do it,” he said.

“Then you’re just as much of an ass as he is but in the end, he listened to what you said. So it’s his fault,” I said.

“I mean it is a little but if I hadn’t of put the idea in his head,” he told me.

“He shouldn’t have been stupid enough to do it,” I said definitely.

“That’s true,” he said frowning a little.

“So we have nothing else to say to each other.”
