The thing about internships is that they end. You're somewhere for quite a while, but after two months, it's over and you have to leave, and it's up to you if you ever come back, or even think about it.

Sadly enough, I was rather at the Children's hospital than I was at school, so I wasn't all that happy with the fact that my summer break started today. Not that I didn't like to be free all the time, because I was looking forward to some free time with my books instead of being away all the time, but I'm gonna miss everyone around the hospital.

''Lorrell, sweetheart,'' I heard a familiar voice say, and I couldn't help but smile when I saw Olivia walking towards me. ''Oh dear, I'm gonna miss you loads around here.'' She murmured before she wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug.

''I'll still come by, if you're okay with that-''

''Of course I am.'' Olivia replied immediately, giving me a warm smile.

''I'll see you around, then.'' I smiled at her. Soon enough there was a beeping sound that caught her attention, and that was the end of our conversation. Not that I really minded, since I knew I still had to say goodbye to a couple of kids around here who were constantly around me, and to be honest.. I wasn't looking forward to it.

I slowly made my way to the room that was closest to me- Rosie's.

As I walked inside I noticed her parents sitting by the window while Rosie had an iPad on her lap, a One Direction song boomed through the room, and it brought a smile on my face. I haven't heard their songs in forever, but it felt a bit weird to listen to the songs while I was getting closer to Harry, especially since I was talking to him whenever I got the chance.

''Lory!'' Rosie screamed excitedly once she noticed me, and I walked to her bed with a smile on my face.

''Hey, sweetie. How are you?'' I asked her as she lowered the volume of the music.

''I'm great! The docter said that maybe I'll be better by the end of the year!'' Her eyes started to shine with happiness, and I looked over to her parents for a moment to see the big smiles on their faces too.

''She'll be here for another three months, but if everything goes well, we'll be able to finally take her home with us in October.'' Her mother chimed in.

''I'm so happy for all of you,'' I smiled in Rosie's mother's direction, and turned towards Rosie again. ''You're gonna be a beautiful, strong young lady, with a passion for music.''

''When are we gonna sing again, Lory?'' Rosie asked me once I mentioned music, and that reminded me of why I actually came into the room.

''I don't know, Rose.. That's why I'm here,'' I started, and sighed, ''I'm leaving for a while. I came here for an internship for school, and that ended today..''

''You're leaving?'' A new voice joined in, and I turned around to see Emma.

"Emma? What are you doing here?" I asked the younger girl, who currently just stared at me. Her eyes were speaking for her when she teared up and ran towards me, wrapping her arms around me.

"I don't want you to leave.." She whispered quietly and that's the moment I took her in my arms.

"I'm only leaving for a couple of weeks, Emms, that's what I've been trying to explain to Rosie," I started, looking at the youngest girl in the room, "I'm leaving for a summer break, and I'll at least come once a week when my school starts again."

"You promise?" Both girls asked at the same time, and I couldn't help but smile at the two of them.

"I promise." I said with a soft smile, before remembering the question I asked Emma before this all started, "But why are you here, Emsy?"
