You let go and looked up at him

"You sir, need a hair cut"

Bucky laughed and you grinned at him but then your smile fell,

"Oh my god, Buck I - I killed- I killed people" you stepped back from him and tears of happiness were replaced with tears of sadness

"It wasn't your fault, HYDRA brainwashed you" he said

"But I still did it, I- they were innocent people, I- oh god" stepped backwards again and your back pressed against the wall

"Look I know what your going through" he said

"No buck, I killed them. I did I-"

"Y/n stop it, you can't blame yourself or the guilt will consume you" he said

"But Bucky there are innocent people laying in the ground because of me! How could I-" you stopped and put your head in your hands

"I know how it feels" he said and you looked up at him questioningly

"They brainwashed me too y/n" Bucky said looking down "I'm as much of a killer as you"

You looked at Bucky and he wore an expression you rarely saw on his face - shame

"Oh James" you said and you hugged him tight "you are not a killer, you are my brother, I don't care what you have done, that was HYDRA, not you."

Bucky held out his arm, it was made of metal and you understood HYDRA had been the ones to give it to him

You took his hand and you held it tight, you didn't know wether he could feel it or not but you had to do something

"I love you Bucky" you said

"Love you too sis" he said back and you smiled and hugged him again

You hugged for a minute more, the silence wasn't awkward, I fact it was welcomed, both of you didn't really want to speak

"Wait" you said and you pulled away "what year is it?"

Bucky suddenly looked very uncomfortable, and looked to the side,
"Uh we can discuss that later but first I need to know how much you remember"

"Uh you want me to say everything I know?" You asked and Bucky chuckled

"Do you remember mum?" He asked

"Yes" you said

"What colour are my eyes?" He closed his eyes and you groaned but smiled anyway because your brother is such a dork

"Blue, Bucky your eyes are blue"

Bucky opened one of his eyes and you laughed

"Do you remember Steve?" Suddenly he looked very nervous

"Sure how could I forget the little shrimp?" You said with a laugh and Bucky sighed in relief

"Well he's not quite a little shill anymore, you should see him" he laughed

"I'm sorry, what?" You asked

"Oh uh you can see him if you want" he said and you nodded eagerly

"Hear that Steve?" Bucky called at the wall and the door opened

Out stepped Steve and you gasped, he had grown to at least six foot he was a hell of a lot more muscley than before.

"What the fuck?" You Yelled

"Good to see you too" he laughed

You ran at him and tackled him in a hug, wrapped your arms around his neck

"God I missed you" he said in a muffled voice

You let go and looked up at him " the hell happened to you?" You asked

"Don't say it" Bucky warned

"I joined the army" steve said with a smirk and Bucky face palmed

You looked at him like he was out of mind then you silently poked his arm,
"Do you somehow have a bone there?" You asked and he laughed

"No but seriously, the hell happened to you?" You asked

"This idiot went and let a doctor experiment on him with some super soldier stuff while we were away" Bucky said walking up from behind you

"You did what?!" You Yelled

Steve smiled at you faintly

"You bastard! You let a scientist experiment on you?! And you didn't even tell us?!"

"Hehe yeah" Steve said rubbing the back of his neck

You snickered "bet Peggy likes it"

Their smiles fell and you all warmly looked at them

"What? Oh god! Did something happen to her?!"

"Listen y/n you might want to sit down" steve said

"I will do no such thing!" You yelled "what happened to Peggy?!"

"Look y/n it's a lot to proses" Bucky said and he looked to steve, unsure of how to put it

"HYDRA have had you for about 70 years" steve said

"It's 2018" Bucky added

"20- 2018?! H-how?!"' You said and you stepped backwards

"I know y/n but me and Steve are here and we'll help you" Bucky said

"Wait how are you alive?" You asked looking at steve

"It's a long story" he said with a laugh
